I believe lobbies or a category of them are a free countries biggest threat. I dont have a clue what to advocate for to solve the problem in U.S. Everyone in government needs them to survive politics. The U.S. is corrupt to the core with them.

Avoiding any personal attacks has helped me, ive only been in jail once or twice in 10 or 15 years. I also believe flooding the monitors with complaints annoys them, and can backfire.

Its hard to sue someone when you have a made up profile or a virtually anonymous one. Not to mention youre in a different country, or your target is broke or mentally incompetent.

Whistler sued an art critic once, he spent a fortune on legal fees and got 1 pound from the jury.

Big corporations and super rich use this system to bully and intimidate I.e, Trump. The money spent can be a super bargain to them.

he waited far too long it seems, his shutdown appears to have played a major role. Wonder how much defense junk Boeing dumped on us? We may be defending ourselves from Putin with japanese air bags soon.

Software companies have had a long history of arrogance and grossly misrepresenting their product . Lax enforcement in U.S. of basic legal guidelines goes back decades.

A Senator today was explicit in blaming the government shutdown as a major cause of the crashes.
This techie fiasco reminds me of the soviet union and and the u.s. as well when their tech nuclear warning systems were seconds away from creating a nuclear holocaust.

When I first came on here,like twenty yrs. Ago more or less, a girl in an i m told me "she had been attacked on the forums". Since she was in Japan I assumed she meant in a shopping center forum so I told her to call the police immediately. I did wonder if she was talking about a body part. Her English was only fair.
