It seems to me , any kind of consciousness and self awareness would require a sensory system, and an ability to generate emotion and motive. I understand 90 % of our brains processing power is dedicated to deciding how we feel about things.
I think the Russian troll element that thrives on extremism and unsubstantiated "facts" needs to be exposed on a regular basis. Then expose the ones that just act like Russian trolls. They can go cry on "Pravda Today" or whatever.

I agree economics is a vast area but it has achieved knowledge and insight this century. It cant always predict the short and long term future but neither can meteorology.
