I used to feed birds on my backporch, one day I heard a cardinal in the window screeching in protest at me. She wanted to eat the seeds I left for her on the window sill but my presence in my adjoining room was most unwelcome. I could feed the tiny, bold chickadees straight from my hand though.
Ive been accused of charging like a bull in bars etc. But I always try to wait and think, even wait long periods of time in silence when serious or very serious things happen, not thinking and waiting can do great harm.
