Quarter of an acre of lawn on sandy soil. Agile wallabies dig half of it up continuously. I want to plant a pumpkin crop, less mowing.

I think I need to upload them to a site such as Photobucket but last time I tried, it was a fail blues

Good to see you Pat wave

My young dog is currently digging up bits of my lawn (which was half dead due to drought and my assault on bindii infestation)

I've topdressed it and oversowed it with grass seed but I suspect I have black beetles or mole crickets now doh .... my puppy boy is good at hunting them out thumbs up

I have a small urban garden.
But half the time it looks more like a rain forest doh
I do grow some veg and fruit in it during the summer.
Now is the time to start pruning back the rain forest though laugh

It is more a case of allowing it to grow as it likes, more than nurturing laugh

I do have one veg raised garden, and that I do control, but the rest of my trees and plants just get free rein

But allowing it to grow as it likes is still nurturing because you're understanding your garden's needs grin

Thanks Serene, I try, those pics are only half the gardens, but its nice and cool sitting out there in the 40c plus heat, and yes Spanishy but very unusual around here, most people in my area grow dogs and tomatoes if they actually have outside space.
