How long should it take before you know someone? I wish I had that answer myself, to be honest. I do agree with you that there are no problems large enough to make one leave another IF BOTH want to work on solving whatever those problems might be. It takes two that want to do that though.
There are no guarantees in this world or this life. So you just have to do the best you can. Try to make the best possible choices you can. Never sell yourself short...never settle for less than what you are truly worth. Know your value and your truth worth. That in itself takes a hell of alot of time. Most of all, learn not only to like yourself, but to Love yourself. I am still learning that one.
There will always be those that are disappointed in us...but a far worse thing would be...If we are disappointed in ourselves. Best of Luck to you!
