Republican Gov. Greg Abbott signed SB-4 into law in a Facebook Live event Sunday evening, effectively banning sanctuary city policies in Texas and giving law enforcement officers the right to ask the immigration status of anyone they stop. Under the law, officers who fail to comply, or cooperate, with federal immigration agents could face jail time and fines reaching $25,000 per day.
“I was proud last night to sign this law ... What it means is that no county, no city, no governmental body in the state of Texas can adopt any policy that provides sanctuary, and second, what it means, is that law enforcement officials, such as sheriffs, are going to be required to comply with ICE detainer requests,” Abbott said on "Fox & Friends" on Monday.
If you read the headlines of NY Times it might be easier to understand the way globalization is over riding the demands for nationalism.
In the main hype of Trump's campaign slogan was that of being AMERICA FIRST, which contradicts that presentation but as we are moving on to the unknown journey of our future as super powers, there's a big concern towards globalization.
Whatever these G7 countries decide, definitely will shape the world.
"A member of the Socialist Party (PS) from 2006 to 2009, Macron was appointed as deputy secretary-general under François Hollande's first government in 2012. He was appointed Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs in 2014 under the Second Valls Government, where he pushed through business-friendly reforms. He resigned in August 2016 to launch a bid in the 2017 presidential election. In November 2016, Macron declared that he would run in the election under the banner of En Marche!, a centrist political movement he founded in April 2016. Ideologically, he has been characterised as a centrist and a liberal."

Correction: He started his political career in 2006, but became more prominent under Hollande's administration. Young blood, young ideas.
It's very obvious to me that the French people opted for a young leader, Macron being the youngest president ever to be elected since Napoleon Bonaparte.
Even more significant reason is the fact that he is new in the world of politics. Only started in 2012 and two years later decided to make himself a presidential candidate for this election which he won without difficulty.
Well described as centrist and liberal, it's truly a noted reason why France chose him instead of the politically experienced and far right Le Pen.
It's very obvious that France is getting away with anyone who's legacy in politics is well rooted from a long record of leadership. Le Pen is a product of a politically experienced people.
I'm not sure as to what evidence and proof they have and how the investigation goes but I agree, it's not just to just kill without due process of law.
