I think we are closer than we have ever been to nuclear war. When i was stationed underground in the raf, things quite often go escalated to a frightening level.
Putin has put his troops on nuclear alert, during the Crimea problem his finger hovered over the trigger.
All we will know about it is the waves of nuclear missiles and in minutes most of humanity will be dead, a lot more from all out.
Oh our leaders will surive in theit nuclear bunkers and all the important people have a space allocated. but for the rest of us.....death.

If Trump acts with knee jerk reaction again with the likes of Russia or China or India or Iran, there won't be any young to fight any war.
Trump murders innocent people because a foreign country has "Maybe" used chemical weapons, while at the same time he threatens the rest of the world with Nuclear annihilation.
Can someone explain what makes Trump God, and can make this decision?
Think of it this way.
Two men are fighting in a yard, with sticks, one pokes his stick in the others eye, a wicked and terrible thing to do, but then along comes this child, from a different neighbourhood with a high powered shotgun and shoots both the boys dead.
Who is in the wrong by the greatest amount?

We've seen once the radical change in personality between greatest generation and the boomers, now give me one good reason why this cannot happen again?

There are those that say, that world war 3 has already started.. that the only real question is when it becomes full scale instead of just a proxy war.. i guess it depends on who is the first one to do something really stupid.. unfortunately its the U.S. who has the highest risk of being that one at this point..
