Well Juneau I used to look forward to watching NX...with a glass of wine...when my kids were tucked up in bed and fast asleep....heres one of my favourite clips!....
Just watched 'the Running of the Bulls'....ahhhh happy days....Im off to visit Amazon for the fourth time this week..... I think you have to put up a new NX thread J....
Oh gosh I wasnt that big of a fan lol but I did love the series..will have to see if I can find the boxset somewhere when Im next in town....I'd like to go back and revisit it...I loved all of those characters....it was a truly fab show!! ...and yeah Chris' voice still gets me to this day!
...ah but yer just as cute lol!.... oh and I know this is kinda random but all this talk of mooses and men has brought my thoughts to this...god I used to have a thing about this guy a while back.... ....remember Northern Exposure?
I think he is a brilliant politician and a decent man...and I feel sad that he will always be remember for Iraq first and foremost...its a shame really.
Well N after years and years of Maggie and John Major etc...to me Tony Blair was like a breath of fresh air...and I really, really admired him....but he is only human after all and we are all guilty of poor judgement at times...unfortunately his blunder was monumental imo....yeah and I do agree he got in too deep with the awful Bush....all very messy stuff. Yeah peaceful protests are the way to go....first Axel and now Tony...who next???
Yeah Im not saying his decision was right....in fact it was very wrong imo but hindsight is a wonderful thing and its very easy to sit back and judge and criticise him now that all the facts have finally come out...he had a very very difficult decision to make....and in my, possibly niave, opinion I believe he thought he was doing the right thing at the time.
Yeah I quite like Ryan but he can push a point too far at times and ends up making himself look silly...which he did at times last night....I got the impression he felt he had to 'nail' Tony Blair for some reason...he didnt manage it though!
I agree N....I have always liked Tony Blair although I never agreed with the invasion of Iraq....however, I was a wee bit disappointed in that response today at his book signing...he has done a lot of good things in his time..including being instrumental in helping bring about peace to Irelands troubled North...but of course most people focus on ONLY the negative stuff.....I think a lot of people enjoy basking in negativity.....thats life....anyway I watched and enjoyed his interview on the Late Late Show last night, and thought the response from the audience was good...although maybe they had been handpicked? Probably? Who knows?
Morning Wispa... ...its misty here too but last night the BBC weatherman promised me that I will have a full day of sunshine ahead....22 degrees just like yesterday... ...I hope he is right!!!
I think a wee bit of space between a couple is a good thing unless you are a very needy person...and within reason of course...I wouldnt fancy flying to the States or Oz just for a hug lol...anyway a bit of space keeps things fresh imo.
..sorry but theres no English accents that do it for me....now the Irish accent...well thats a different story.... (not all of them mind! ...she says thinking of some of the priests in Fr Ted )
