black rice is unhulled and will cause your intensines to rupture... brown rice is semi refined and will only cause things to move quickly through your gastro system..
I think moss is green so that it can help to camouflage leprechans who wear mostly green..
Trees in Ireland have a lot of moss on them and Ireland is a very green place for the same reason..
I have found that moss in different parts of the world are different colours, silvery with red thingys (technical word) in the woods of Pennsylvania, whitish in the Ozarks, and dull green in Florida..to name a few.
Perhaps the colours depend on the type of mythical creature they are intended to hide???
