'BEFORE ENLIGHTENMENT...I USED TO BE DEPRESSED.AFTER ENLIGHTENMENT...I CONTINUE TO BE DEPRESSED...BUT THERE'S A BIG DIFFERENCE...I DON'T IDENTIFY WITH IT ANYMORE.'
and also trying not to identify with the depression,it's usually,in the past, when I identified with it,that it hurt the most.
Today I'm aware that even if I do sometimes get depressed..that I AM NOT MY DEPRESSION.
YOU ARE NOT YOUR DEPRESSION.
I THINK PART of the problem sometimes is people identify too much with their feelings of depression and believe THEY ARE their DEPRESSION...and THEY ARE NOT.
AND I think it's important to be aware of that. JMO
