RE: 65 year old music

No. 1 on the charts in several countries during it's time. I never get tired of hearing this song! Tragically, Kyu Sakamoto was killed in a plane crash.

RE: A folk song

This was a background song on someone's "countryish" video. Loved the song! Not sure it qualifies as folk, feels like it to me tho, but here it is, hope you enjoy it!

RE: Seen Any Birds?

I'm in Central FL. Seen the Crow population grow exponentially. Hawks as well constantly fighting with them. Osprey seem to be thriving as well as Ibis and Cardinals. Don't see much of the smaller birds like sparrows, Bluejays or Mocking birds. Urban development, that's a very real cause! Don't see too many Owls either. Wooded lots around here being cut down every day! No place for them to go. My older house was surrounded by woods, now by new houses. I planted native trees and shrubs birds thrive on for food and nesting in to help bring them back. Many landscapers that use native foliage here are urging new homeowners to do the same. Bees and butterflies disappearing as well. Plants that support these are cheap and don't require much care.

RE: UFO'S

Government counts on people looking for alien UFOs. Gets their attention away from the real agenda. Top secret, classified projects.

RE: Mystery Booms 2020

There is a new experimental aircraft being tested. I believe it's the next generation of the SR-71 Blackbird. My friend who is in aviation sent me a picture of it. Still not as pretty as the original tho.

RE: False Flags

What is your opinion of these random shootings like the one in Boulder, Colorado a few days ago? As soon as these happen I get emails wanting me to sign petitions to ban guns. I have suspected these shootings were covert operations. Banning guns won't stop killings. I wonder what's next...a permit to own a kitchen knife...lol!

RE: Will you take it?

Not this American citizen, absolutely not. They are unproven. Have watched a few videos on how they work, especially those that are based on the "interferon". I see flaws that could be more lethal (short and long term) than the virus itself. Makes me think back to what happened with "thalidomide". Different meds yes but outcome just as deadly. The FDA here, is a corrupt organization here puppeted by "Big Pharma" and other political puppets.
I'll wear the mask, social distance ect...nut under no circumstance will take the/those vaccines!

RE: Hiroshima, seventy five years on.

I wish I could be more optimistic. The vie for resources is ongoing, that's really what war is usually based on. It won't stop. There was a "Star Trek" episode, "A Taste of Armageddon", I found highly prophetic even when I watched as a kid. A war fought with computers, forcing casualties, digitally counted by a computer model, to enter into "disintegration" machines (surprised no one has invented one of those). Cleanly killed no blood no mess, no destruction, leaving planet virtually untouched. There have been a number of variations on this theme. NWO, Elitism? Don't be surprised. Hope I'm wrong.

RE: Hiroshima, seventy five years on.

I've seen a few of them, really heart wrenching. Even Robert Oppenheimer, "Father of the Atom Bomb" was against using it after he saw the test explosion in New Mexico. He was also against the build up of nuclear weapons internationally. I've read that Truman had him blacklisted. Whether he thought Oppenheimer was a Soviet spy or not, unsure.

RE: Hiroshima, seventy five years on.

It was just a topic of discussion. I wasn't too sure of all the details. I watched a video some time ago of an older former Japanese intelligent agent who explained what he knew. If I can find it I will post. Anything I read after seemed controversial. Thanks for your post tho.

RE: Hiroshima, seventy five years on.

This is the one of the saddest of those victims, Sadako Sasaki. She was only a baby when the bomb was dropped.

The band "Hiroshima" did a song as a tribute, it's quite beautiful

RE: Hiroshima, seventy five years on.

The bomb didn't make them surrender. It was the Soviets who had entered the war that made them surrender. Surrender was being contemplated by the Japanese already. Some say the bombs were not even necessary. Details are sketchy and controversial. Interesting tho, reading about it.

RE: Pet Therapy

You can check and see if there are any agility classes for dogs nearby. Terriers excel at this kind of activity. It would help to drain his energy in a positive way.

RE: Smokes and drugs

Yes, by itself nicotine can be used to ward off effects and even prevent conditions like Alzheimers and Parkinsons and other ailments (you can Google). The smoke, tar, and a myriad of added chemicals are what causes damage from conventional cigarettes. Nicotine is basically along for the ride.

RE: " Love Is "

Simple? No don't think so, boredom most likely not love. Why "create" a project that keeps getting out of hand?
Love is a "double edged" emotion...just my opinion.

RE: Old fashioned ways

It's true about Germany, been there. Absolutely clean and beautiful! No litter in the streets at. I was in Munich and some of the surrounding areas, like a different planet. I could live there permanently.

Paper grocery bags harbor cockroaches, they like the glue and lay their eggs in the folds. Once you get those in your house, it's hell to get rid of them. My daughter makes designer cloth grocery bags that can be washed.

I still wash dishes by hand, no dish washing appliance. Even when I had one, would always practically wash by hand anyway before loading the dishwasher.

RE: Television/sitcom families

Going way back.. as a kid, I always liked "Alice Kramdon" from the "Honeymooners". Always so smart and quick witted. Always admired her. That was a great show! Love her scarcasm with Ralph

RE: Childhood Memories ...

This song reminds me of very happy times in school with friends and my brothers and sisters. Very popular song still today!

RE: Did Adam And Eve have a lot of fun before they ate the forbidden fruit?

It was that God's angles that were killing 100 of "her" children every day she refused to return to Adam. I think I would have become a demon too.

RE: Did Adam And Eve have a lot of fun before they ate the forbidden fruit?

I'm surprised he wasn't worn out after, Lilith, his first wife. Seems they were very busy, had 100s of children. Seems there was a squabble about who was going to be "on top", thought herself equal to him, refused to be subservient, so she left him and in my opinion wrongly demonized. So the story goes....

RE: Guess the song/lyrics

Here ya go....enjoy

Backdoor man...familiar but just can't place the song.

RE: Guess the song/lyrics

Probably to easy but here goes...

"I love it, I need it, I bleed it"

RE: Went To The Store This Morning

Could be actuator door? My car did that as well. Found it on Youtube, exact sound and fix was simple. I always go there before the mechanic...lol!

RE: Xenobots

I find it disturbing. Read a couple books long ago, "Midnight", by Dean Kootnz and, "Blood Music", by Greg Bear. Both were about this very thing that goes very wrong. Worth a read!

RE: What Brings "YOU HAPPINESS" and Peace of Mind?

Lots of things make me happy tho most are fleeting. The one small bit of happiness that never fails is when its time to leave work. Out the door, I want to throw my hands to the sky!

Peace of mind, never. Always makes me nervous when everything is going okay. There's always that little bit of anxiety of when the next axe is going to fall. I call it "The Sword of Damocles" syndrome. Actually one of my favorite stories of all time.

RE: First "FULL MOON" of the the Decade "2020"

I did work in an ER. Full moon nights were no different than any other night. Friday and Saturday nights always busy no matter what moon phase.

I find full moon skies very calming, beautiful!

RE: why extraterrestrial intelligence and not our own

I agree. Cataclysmic events can wipe out technology. One good blow from the Yellowstone Caldera and the world is a goner, we are back to square one. One event in history is truly one of the saddest was the burning of the Library of Alexandria. I suspect had it not been destroyed, would have explained much.

RE: Hotrods: One Hit Wonders, Unique and Forgotten Songs, Chat, Silly Pics, and whatever else

Stumbled across this song hadn't heard it in decades. Jorge Santana brother of Carlos Santana,

RE: Utah Investigates 21 Cases of Lung Disease Linked to Vaping

Been vaping for nearly 8 years now. Most of those "200" were vaping K2spice and other drugs. You can't put that stuff in a regular Mod. It requires a bit of knowledge to vape and there are plenty of videos about battery safety and devices on how to use them and what to put in them. There will always be idiots who ruin it for the rest of us who vape. I wonder how many have died from cigarette smoking, more than 200 I guess.

RE: Back to the Woods...

The grounds of the company I work for is surrounded by woods. Shortly after the last hurricaine, I spotted a Florida Panther in the parking lot. Couldn't believe it no one else did either but then security reported another sighting. A pair of Ospreys nest on the company radio tower every year. Very interesting to watch.
