I know for me personally.. it has never been a conscious decision or choice.. I just know that through my life I have never seen or heard anything that made me believe.. but I have never shut it out.. I just never experienced anything that made me think there were gods..

So for me it was/is not about rejection.. just something naturally I grew to have no interest in knowing more about.

I still see, hear.. experience the beauty in the things around me.. (always) I still appreciate all of those things.. But to me.. they are there because of nature ... earth seeds water.. sun etc.. and not because I believe a god put them there.

I do my best to be the best version of me I can be.. I naturally live by own version of the commandments.. which really is just about being a good person.... and an Atheist I maybe.. and a non believer in anything already mentioned.. but it doesn't make me any less of a person.. in many ways.. I think it has made me a BETTER person.

(I know you didn't say I was a bad person.. LOL .. I was just rounding up what I was saying )

noo. I don't .. I just believe that is me as I am now.. (inside).. and when my physical me goes.. it will too... Ashes to ashes and all that.

and thats suits me just fine.

But for me myself.. my view encompasses all of those things.. I don't believe in ANY of those things.
So I am not an Atheist who only believes there is no such thing as a god. I just don't believe any of that stuff mentioned above.

I only believe in the here and now thing.. and things I have seen as proof to me.

I have alwaaaaays said I didn't want to be involved with someone younger than myself. (or even the same age as me)

Then I go and meet someone 8yrs younger.. and it IS freaking me out big time.

Sometimes I think it DOES matter.
