In one such study, participants had to help a fictional character named Susan choose a date from three male contestants, based on their answers to her questions. The third contestant simply gave neutral answers.

So which contestant did participants think Susan should date and who did they prefer to date themselves? Contrary to the stereotype that nice guys finish last, it was actually the nice contestant that was chosen most frequently for both Susan and for participants themselves.

In another study, participants who read dating ads in which people described themselves as altruistic (“I volunteer at the food bank”) were rated as more attractive short-term dates and long-term partners than those who didn’t mention such qualities. Other studies have similarly shown that women prefer men who are sensitive, confident and easy-going, and that very few (if any) women want to date a man who is aggressive or demanding. The picture that emerges is clear: when women rate hypothetical partners, they clearly prefer “nice” men.

In fact, the power of niceness shouldn’t be underestimated. Some studies have shown that having a nice personality can even affect impressions of a person’s physical attractiveness. Characteristics such as warmth, kindness, and basic decency are valued by both women and men – having them makes us more desirable partners, but also makes us appear more physically attractive.

In the end, the idea that women want to date bad boys really just reinforces the misogynist’s idea of deceitful women and earnest “nice” men baffled by their lack of dating success. It allows some men to blame and hate women as a means of deflecting attention away from their own shortcomings. So, if you’re looking to science for some advice, it’s simple: be nice.

True intimacy is hard work and some man are afraid of the skeletons they might discover in their own closet. Such men may believe they want a real relationship, but devaluing women in general is his weakness and foolishly expect something fulfilling and satisfying.

Such man wants to Dominate and control women, waiting for the one who is good enough for him to be obedient submissive good doggy for training , but I doubt that anyone will ever be "good enough" for him... as he believes that all women are like snakes lol.

A man who does not respect women cannot respect a real relationship. Most often guy like that thinks he’s a good guy by telling women that he’s not looking for anything serious. He’s better than the scum that lead women on, but he’s still not a nice guy. He’s an immature boy who doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing, and women is better off without him.

Women should not want and need a boy.

Men's ability to treat women as a dangerous alien species has been the stuff of literature from Greek mythology, through Shakespeare, to D H Lawrence, Philip Roth and others....and they are all Man 'who can tell a man, from men' lol.
For example? 'Swearing, using intimidating gestures, being highly critical of, say, a woman's abilities as a mother, her physical appearance, humiliating her in front of people - there are so many ways that men set out to control women and which are considered quite acceptable. I know some women behave this way towards men, but the crucial difference is that they do not have cultural support in doing so.

That's because they are measuring everything they see, everything is a manipulation with these people. So they are measuring their response, trying to put together a plan, or wondering if anybody is on to them.?

Narc's only laugh at someone experiencing humiliation or embarrassment or something that made the subject look stupid, ridiculous, but its always a dehumanizing kind of humour that triggers or tickles them....and the worst thing one can do to become Enemy No1 to Narcis is to laugh at them.?... We can learn a lot about someone by what makes them laugh and this narcissist's smile is always the same, with no feelings, no emotions...demonic /evil as they only laugh at pain, its a 'mocking' laughter....
They don't all want just control, most want to feel wanted, almost worshipped like God.

True my research, I find that Misogyny is typically an unconscious hatred that men form early in life, often as a result of a trauma involving a female figure they trusted and men who hate women may not consciously realize it but their action reveals them. They can be anywhere around us; they do not come with a label attached, and they may even come across as pro-woman.

Women haters (unconsciously) get off on treating women badly. Every time they can put down a woman or hurt her feelings, they unconsciously feel good because deep down in their hidden brain, their bad behaviour is rewarded with a dose of the pleasure chemical dopamine—which makes them want to repeat the behaviour again and again.
Their ability to lure women in with their charm and charisma adds to the difficulty of spotting the early-warning signs.

I have to give some thought to this ...and preferably could you please elaborate your thoughts a bit more.
1.There is no excuse to hurt another human being because someone else did it to us so starting from that fundamental basic respect to another fellow human being...I do not see any reasonable excuse to hurt anyone, at least not to hurt consciously !

I am aware that a men and women grieve differently and being in a relationship with a man which ex cheated on him, might be a challenging task as he may look for excuse why he doesn't trust no women ...or women who was treated badly by her ex and now she wants to treat next man in her life as if he deserves all the punishment because she couldn't do nothing to the last one who betrayed her !? Is that what you meant by circle of revanchful mind from both sides ? In most cases,I do not think that with women works like that as women are more nurturing type...Anyway,that's all wrong setting, as two wrongs doesn't make it right !
People should take the time off to grieve and not rush up into another relationship when one or both are not ready for it.
Men are more likely to be angry when they are grieving but who deserves and wants to be someone punching bag ?

Whichever way one deal with grief, it is better to help self with Cancelling and find friends network to support each other during difficult time; and the individual person simply adapts over time....but let's not confuse all this grieving process of loss with "normal people" Predators /Psychopaths are different, they do not change true grieving period ...Do they ever change ? I remember from your previously shared stories, I got impression that you were mistreated / put down from your family mambers and I believe, who ever experienced growing in this painful childhood undermining of not feeling 'good enough' that consequently suffers from low self easteem which needs to be work on for life in building self confidence ...because there's often stronger negative voice luring like ghost in such person,voice that whispers

In getting to know you over time, I believe you love women ...as your pattern of behaviour is not dominaring and you should give yourself more credit, rather then some times puting yourself down... A men who appreciates women can not understand psychpaths who hides their hate for women,because predators mask and cover their hate in mind manipulatuve games with another person or exploration in social media ..etc. Predators doesn't start stright a way to put women down, there's a gradual process of testing the water...playing with victim mind / sanity.It begins with a honey moon love bombing period, when everything appears ideal ...than sudden snapping were victims is confused and giving the benefit of the doubt because Empaths often do play Nurses...
