I think it's too late now to have a vote before Britain interfered, pedro. It's not a matter of political will, but more to do with the laws governing time and space.
I'm sure he wouldn't, but his teachings may conform more closely to some political leanings than others. I can't see him advocating gun ownership or screaming in protest about proper health care for everyone, for example. Who would you say that puts him more closely in tune with?
