But, to stay on topic, what are your criteria for determining what is "too much money" for a woman to spend?

I have known men who spend a fortune on beer, gambling and going to football, and most seem no less attached to their phones than women are. I think you are being gender biased here, you are denying men the opportunity of being criticized for what they spend their money on.
