Part of the beauty and the tragedy of being humans is that we can overcome. Even overcome the precious feelings we had for someone in the past. How we can be crazy about someone for years and then its gone. Dang this stuff is depressing me today lol.

In the Greek there are seven different words for various types of love. lol I don't know them all but and really don't know if someone can adequately define what people crave in various forms. I know life is lonely as hell without it. Without the love of friends who care about you in spite of your flaws. Without having someone hold you at night and you snuggle down into their warmth or you spoon with them almost as if you become one person during the night. Playing with their toes. Without smiling and laughing even with strangers the world becomes an icy place full of silence in the midst of the noise.
We all do that honey. Human nature. Thank god most of them don't happen lol. With my active imagination I can come up with all kinds of scenarios all the time lol.

Forgiveness helps us the most even if the other person is never aware of it lol. It's an act of the will and not emotional or at least according to a pastor of mine a while ago. Made sense. You can choose to forgive even if you can't choose the other person's reaction.
Follow your instincts then you will never have to regret that you didn't do it. I am hoping for you it turns out how you want it to. Keep in mind how she reacts. I do a lot of writing or I did until recently. It's your soul going into that poem. If she reacts well great but if she is snarky you just put yourself out there for someone who didn't deserve it. Do it anyway it's part of living and experiencing life.
She is right I always enjoy reading what you have written you have obviously endured a lot of pain and come out of it as a victor. You are open about it but don't come across as self pitying. A lot of strength comes from what you answer. At least to me it does.
Memories are the photos our soul's take. Stored inside our brains to be replayed sometimes at will. What is awesome is when a sight or sound will take you back to say a family holiday where everyone is laughing and joking and just being happy.

Hello Hank I am bad at remembering names. The diners were very fine their goofy server wasn't well behaved lol.. Most people are okay. I use the term affectionately actually but really unless I talk to someone over the phone or know them in person shouldn't use it. It means I enjoy their personality.
