Half the fun of cooking is improvising with what you have on hand. The only time I do recipes is if my daughters are visiting and I wish to dazzle them with my culinary expertise
Here's one that everybody loves:
6 medium (2-1/4" to 3" dia, raw)s potatoes, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Step 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Step 2 Rinse and dry potatoes with a paper towel and transfer to a large bowl. Add olive oil, seasoned salt, salt, and black pepper; mix well. Spread potatoes on a baking sheet.
Step 3 Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, turning potatoes occasionally. Continue baking until potatoes are tender and golden brown, about 30 minutes more.
