OT: Does your thumb ever get tired of thumbing down my posts? laugh

RE: Which member is the most super honest about his life throughout the years here.........?

RE: The Byrds - Turn! Turn! Turn!

The Bible is the basis of your religion. It is a "semi" factual edited account of the word of your savior and the history of your faith. The fact that you do not know it speaks volumes to me of the nature of your faith. No worries, Pedro. Ignorance is not a deadly sin. You only show characteristics of five out of the seven.

A book? It's your book or do you not know the book upon which you base your faith? Ya know, the bible?

It's a good song, no doubt, but the greatest? laugh

It's not even their best song. I can think of a half dozen Byrd's songs off the top of my head that I prefer. I'm guessing you like it because the lyrics are from the book of Ecclesiastes.

RE: Recipes!

Did you try it?

RE: Would you take someone serious and date them if they didn’t like Leonard Cohen and his music?

RE: Recipes!

Half the fun of cooking is improvising with what you have on hand. The only time I do recipes is if my daughters are visiting and I wish to dazzle them with my culinary expertise

Here's one that everybody loves:

6 medium (2-1/4" to 3" dia, raw)s potatoes, cut into chunks

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

Step 2
Rinse and dry potatoes with a paper towel and transfer to a large bowl. Add olive oil, seasoned salt, salt, and black pepper; mix well. Spread potatoes on a baking sheet.

Step 3
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, turning potatoes occasionally. Continue baking until potatoes are tender and golden brown, about 30 minutes more.

RE: Great songs that are almost unknown

Lack of a decent distribution deal did this band in. One of the great prog rock bands that remain virtually unknown outside of Maryland.

RE: Great songs that are almost unknown

This one is the very definition of an unknown classic. It's epic.

RE: Conversation flop

How about just banter and word play? When I get asked too many questions it feels like an interrogation and not a conversation.

Maybe the information you seek can be obtained anecdotally through conversation instead of Q&A??

Would you swap your childhood

with the children of today? Why or why not?

No way for me. There are so many things I miss from my childhood that I have trouble remembering them all.

RE: Conversation flop

I'm just busting your chops a bit. bouquet

RE: Conversation flop

Wait a minute... I had no idea! wow

RE: Conversation flop

It certainly does take two to tango.

RE: Let's all get stoned...

Have you ever listened to the song? It sounds to me, and a few million other people, like John is inhaling at certain points.
