First off, what I posted doesn't imply you always look away when things are wrong. You judge whether or not to open your mouth based on how important it is. Second, it sounds like you've already made up your mind, why ask?
Third, based on your responses it sounds like your inserting yourself into a situation with between two friends. Is that true?
If you're in NY then you must be someplace way up or downstate, because the highways in the tri-state area are going to be jammed. They've been jammed for a couple of weeks and the holiday weekend will make them worse. All the yuppies from the city will be heading out here.
OT: I wanted to travel up to see my daughters in Connecticut but too many restrictions on the ferries. I pick one.
My dad, in his early 80's, would spontaneously start to dance out in public if he heard a song that moved him. I'm sure it would have carried on if not for Alzheimer's.
It all depends on the importance of the subject both to you and the other party. Is it important enough to you to chance ending the communication/friendship? Only you can make that judgement.
I've no problem with you Mikey. I simply asked for you not to speak for me (I believe you said the U.S. so you were speaking for our entire country.) you came back with attitude and I returned the favor. We can leave it here or you feel free to do what you will. Whatever.
Truth. I stopped smoking decades ago because it made me stupid and paranoid. I do miss the days of driving on the LIE (Long Island Expressway) rolling a joint with one hand to get ready for the Midtown Tunnel. Or rolling one on the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) when heading for a concert at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking of which, I miss the creativity and originality of the music.
RE: Folks !!! can you recall your greatest blessing....?
There were two. The births of my daughters.
