Oh I do understand and get you when you say you are interested in what is on the inside of the person . I concur . However I will up and say that I generally do not waste mine or anybody elses time and if I don't fancy a guy then it won't happen . I don't have a type as such , it is more about what attracts me, about a person and not whether he is a real looker . So for me it is a combination of things and not just looks.
It is lovely that you liked your guy and that worked out well for you . That was lucky though as it could have been the other way ,ie you not finding him attractive at all . You would have still had him as a friend I know ,but not as a possible "suiter"
Six of one ,half dozen of the other . It is entirely up to you DE if you want to put a pic up or not. My personal preference is to talk to guys with pictures .Not too much to ask IMO. I have it written in my profile for guys not to mail or flower me unless they have a picture of themselves up , I am not interested in getting to know a guy that looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost . I still get the mail etc because these guys can't be arsed to read the profiles of woman on here . I really am not interested and ask them to read my profile . Each to his own ,methinks .
I would never thank the people for viewing my profile They are just looking and nothing else . To thank everyone would be a bit presumptuous of me I think .I mean someone could just view my profile out of curiosity or clicked on my profile because of something I have said in the forum . It wouldn't necessarily mean that they thought I was all that or anything. If someone wants an email from me they usualy mail me first JMO.
