RE: MEET IN JANUARY

Sure don't worry about me, Tease, dear. I was carried away by the word Meet, didn't notice it was a private party. handshake

RE: MEET IN JANUARY

I have been known to party from time to time but my January is all booked up. I have 3 close family members with Birthdays that month. Feb would be brilliant though cheers

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

Less of a theory than your usual ones of "outing" trolls and fakes, J, dear. Too many things add up since you created your new persona. But if you wish to pretend otherwise, please go ahead. It hardly matters to me. hug

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

Please don't confuse a closed mind with rational thinking blah blah

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

Oh, your name begins with J, alright. I was wondering if you were him but I know for sure today. hug

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

I was expecting that. Isn't it wonderful how Nasa got the several thousand people that worked on the moon landings in the 60s to keep quiet about the fakery? Every single one of them that are still alive still claim it went ahead. That is dedication to a myth, isn't it, J?

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

I am a newbie to this science thing but a gentleman friend has introduced me to some of the basics recently. I am still trying to get my head around quantum physics confused

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

Science is also about keeping an open mind. You cannot say for certain that something does not exist. A negative cannot be proved. All crows are black until a white crow is found.

RE: Human life could exist on newly discovered planet

But Einstein said that "Imagination is more important than knowledge". Keeping an open mind is vital in science. Because we cannot prove there is life on other planets does not mean that there isn't. The possibilities are wonderful, J.

RE: It`s been two years since i had a bit !

Oh, I like sweet and savoury puddings....I'm an equal opportunity pudding eater grin

RE: It`s been two years since i had a bit !

I'm rather fond of Christmas Pudding, N, but I don't tend to have a lot of it although I have two got for Christmas this year. However, I make sure to have some sausage every couple of weeks grin

I really don't understand how anyone could make anything bad out of a thread about food innocent

RE: is computer dateing the way to go

Or maybe discuss what happened on X Factor peace

RE: is computer dateing the way to go

That quote is from Sir Walter Scott actually, Snowy tongue

Eyes or Ears??

If her eyes are red from crying, she's not angry, she's upset and unhappy. There is quite a difference sigh

Eyes or Ears??

In my experience, men are more than capable of doing a bit of nagging themselves. Anyway, if a woman had no voice at all, she would still find a way of getting her point across scold scold

Eyes or Ears??

I read recently that men fall in love through their eyes and women fall in love through their ears. I have to admit that a man's voice will make a big difference to how I see him and a guy with a good voice will win out over even a better looking guy with an unattractive voice. smitten

RE: Is there anybody on here youd love to date ?

There is one guy on here that I wouldn't mind dating but I think he either doesn't take me seriously or doesn't consider me dating material.....or both dunno

Maybe I can change his mind flirty flirty

RE: I have finally figured out whats wrong with everything

One of the advantages of having little money is that you always choose the cheapest option on a menu, including coffee. I will usually try out whatever is on offer which is how I discovered the delights of a Spiced Chai Latte love

RE: what books you like to read & what books you recommend

So many books, so little time frustrated

Read Alone in Berlin....absolutely brilliant!

Reading some books on spirituality at the moment. Brian Weiss, the Dalai Lama, Pema Chodron.

I also like David Baldacci, especially the Camel Club series. I have read all of John Connolly's books except the new one as I am waiting for Christmas to get that. Also, in the same vein, I like Tess Gerritsen. I love Bill Bryson as well. Read Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit years ago, adored the Bronte sisters as a teenager and read them all along with John Steinbeck and Hermann Hesse.

I have a pile of books by my bedside and I have sworn not to buy any more until I have read at least half of them. I think there are about 30.....which means I would be rich if I didn't buy books, although most of the are from 2nd hand shops and charity shops

RE: November 26- GET TOGETHER IN GALWAY!

I would really, really, really love to go but I don't think I will be able to afford it. crying blues moping

RE: Feelings

No, can't say I do get that feeling. I believe that I am quite lucky. Sometimes, I can't believe my good luck. I certainly tend to believe that everything will work out quite well in the end, it's just not over yet peace

RE: November 26- GET TOGETHER IN GALWAY!

Hi Itchywitch, some of us do know each other but we didn't until we met at a meet. No one will let you be lost for long, I promise you, and the same goes for anyone else who is coming along for the first time. I was made very welcome at the first meet I went to and it's been the same at every meet I have been to. Every one has always been very friendly

wave

And I agree about there never being too many men.

RE: November 26- GET TOGETHER IN GALWAY!

RE: It's ALL about ME!!!

Delighted you got your Kindle, M. It will make for a lighter load when you go away.

By the way, I think you are a lamb so forget the mutton stuff hug

RE: How do you feel about flirting?

Flirting is easier when the flirtee seems to be enjoying the attention. It doesn't work if the flirtee isn't into being flirted with uh oh

RE: How do you feel about flirting?

Oh yes we are flirty lips

RE: Confidance

I have never been very confident although I know I appear to be so. I believe in the concept of "Fake it til you make it" so most people think I am oozing with confidence in all situations until I become a bumbling idiot in front of them (it has happened blushing ). My confidence has definitely improved with age but that is due to the learned knowledge that most other people are in the same boat. I tend to concentrate on making them feel more comfortable and try to forget about my own problems and doubts.

RE: Blind

Ah, sure, that's no time at all. It can take a while to get used to a site as large as CS. Enjoy the forums now that you are here, and don't be put off by some of the posters. The rule is: YOU have as much right to post what you want as they do. Now, run along and play nice peace
