"His & Hers" was fantastic. I am giving the dvd to a few farflung friends this Christmas as they wouldnt have seen it on the cinema.
Not reading too much at the moment as just coming to the end of my course. Can recommend a personal development book called Soul Without Shame by Byron Brown. It discusses dealing with one's superego. As someone with a overdeveloped superego, I have found it excellent.
I have read the first 2 of the Stieg Larsson trilogy and have bought myself the third to read when my course finishes. I find them very enjoyable.
I think I am an exception in that I can only ever read one book at a time
I had to do a little research into this for a project and I dont have my notes to hand here and now but I do recall that in Ireland the statistics stated that 5% lived below the poverty line while in the US, 14% did. The poverty line was set by each country individually according to what was needed to keep body and soul together in that country and Ireland's poverty line was higher than in the States.
I definitely think that poverty would mean not being able to provide yourself and/or your family with adequate food and shelter but I would hope in a welfare state, it is unnecessary for anyone to starve.
I worked alongside youngsters for years and always found them caring and decent. Definitely less miserable than we were at the same age. Or that could just be my experience. Things could change now that we are sinking in a recession again.
My first crush on CS was a lovely gentleman who lives by the sea. He loves another now and hopes to get married in a couple of years. We are still friends though.
Here's to you, my hobbit friend
GG, you were on my list of crushes aswell, as you well know
I am most interested to find out who will be my last crush on here
One of my favourtie Tom Waits numbers aswell, in fact I would say my very favourite but I voted for Leonard Cohen because his songs bring up a lot of memories for me and I listen to him a lot more than Waits.
As a general rule I believe if he broke it off, she can keep the ring but if she broke it off, she should give it back. Whoever broke the engagement gives up any right to the ring.
I reckon that is the main reason the government dont want the IMF to come in. . .their wages will be cut first if they do. . .but there will always be jobs for the boys. . .they will be alright
I would say: You're worth the best, dont settle for anything less, no matter how long it takes.
However, changing the past might change the 3 great kids I have now. It was hard getting here, and here isnt perfect but its pretty darned good. . .dont think I want to change anything.
RE: new on here
But what do I do if there isnt a fancy dress party going on? I would stand out like a man with a wooden duck on his head
