I'm getting curious myself to know what antics you think people are up to at meets. Are these antics you have witnessed yourself or heard of from others? I don't think hearsay counts.
That was only an issue once ever in over a dozen meets that have been on since I joined. Mostly the hints and innuendos are deliberately far removed from what really happened (at least at the meets I attended)
Sounds like a very bad business. The meets are fun and open for all. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who like to play games and mess things up for others.
I wouldn't take the blindest bit of notice of a warning by a fake profile but I could understand being very put off if you hadn't been to a meet before.
That is weird in a very bad way. Do you think they would tell you who did the warning? After all if someone had an issue with the meets, wouldn't it be a better idea to come right out with it.
I have been to several meets and have never seen any real aggro. As GG said, some embarrassing incidents cos of drink but nothing that would be harmful or threatening.
As for Valentines, hey, it's just another day. Just get on with it and maybe next year you will have someone to buy you overpriced cards, fattening chocolates and fast dying hot house roses
I get about 50% interest from men more than 10 years younger than me if you go by my last "Who Viewed Me" page. And about 50% of them are more than 20 years younger which feels really weird. If I am old enough to be his momma, I am definitely not interested
I have signed up for this and will really try to get there. I have never been to Sherkin and would love to see it. It will all depend on my very shaky finances
Seems to be thinking of the bank holiday weekend at the beginning of May. Just about my birthday as well but my pals from home might be ticked off if I went off somewhere, unless I can persuade them all to come too
My favourites change with my moods, I think. I generally eat seafood when out in a good restaurant, mostly because I don't cook seafood very much at home. I do love pasta as well so seafood and pasta go down very well.
Following instructions on the packet are a start. After a while get a few simple recipes and follow the instructions on them and keep going from there.
I love when someone cooks for me. With a family I have to cook everyday so it's lovely to get a break. I wasn't very good when I started out but I think I am fairly good now. Practise makes perfect, Salanky.
I don't do much on msn or facebook any more but I did use them when I did msn and got some new ones as well. It's surprising how many rude ones men come up with
I tended to eat grass and raw potatoes when I was little but other than snails in garlic butter, I don't think I have been very adverturous in the food department.
