RE: Would you marry someone for money?

rolling on the floor laughing

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

Tell me more, J conversing

I have been looking for a good work out exercise I can enjoy lips

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

I'm getting curious myself to know what antics you think people are up to at meets. Are these antics you have witnessed yourself or heard of from others? I don't think hearsay counts. popcorn

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

I say stay and take your punishment like a man, young fella.

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

Sure, you are only afraid that the middle aged grannies wouldn't grope you, then where would you be??? laugh

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

Thank you for your permission, Mac.....I think confused

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

That was only an issue once ever in over a dozen meets that have been on since I joined. Mostly the hints and innuendos are deliberately far removed from what really happened (at least at the meets I attended)

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

Sounds like a very bad business. The meets are fun and open for all. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there who like to play games and mess things up for others. very mad

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

Were they warned by unknown profilers or someone they knew?

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

I wouldn't take the blindest bit of notice of a warning by a fake profile but I could understand being very put off if you hadn't been to a meet before.

RE: People being warned not to go to Get Togethers ...

That is weird in a very bad way. Do you think they would tell you who did the warning? After all if someone had an issue with the meets, wouldn't it be a better idea to come right out with it.

I have been to several meets and have never seen any real aggro. As GG said, some embarrassing incidents cos of drink but nothing that would be harmful or threatening.

RE: So what is the best way for a single person to spend Valentines day:)

Looking forward to seeing you there, A thumbs up

As for Valentines, hey, it's just another day. Just get on with it and maybe next year you will have someone to buy you overpriced cards, fattening chocolates and fast dying hot house roses mumbling

(did someone mention sour grapes moping )

laugh

RE: who do you attract?

I get about 50% interest from men more than 10 years younger than me if you go by my last "Who Viewed Me" page. And about 50% of them are more than 20 years younger which feels really weird. If I am old enough to be his momma, I am definitely not interested talk to hand

RE: The last person you viewed, if no one ever knew .... would ya

I agree. Sometimes, I just view people for the fun of it but couldn't even tell you which they were afterwards.

As for the last, it was a paleface so I don't know for sure whether I would or not. dunno

RE: April 30-May 1: The SHERKIN ISLAND EXPERIENCE Event

I have signed up for this and will really try to get there. I have never been to Sherkin and would love to see it. It will all depend on my very shaky finances please

RE: April 30-May 1: The SHERKIN ISLAND EXPERIENCE Event

First week in May is generally exam time for anyone in college so we might miss out on some of our younger contingent blues

RE: April 30-May 1: The SHERKIN ISLAND EXPERIENCE Event

If the accommodation is cheap enough, 2 of my pals will definitely come with me but maybe for only the Saturday night, not a full weekend thumbs up

Promised I would make a bread and butter pudding for sunday supper for the kids so I gotta go for now wave

RE: Interview the person below

I love the spring. Always feels full of hope. So am looking forward to it arriving now.

Would you travel down to Sherkin Island in May? laugh

RE: April 30-May 1: The SHERKIN ISLAND EXPERIENCE Event

Seems to be thinking of the bank holiday weekend at the beginning of May. Just about my birthday as well but my pals from home might be ticked off if I went off somewhere, unless I can persuade them all to come too banana banana

RE: Interview the person below

I used to love this weather until my back went, now it just gives me a pain in the neck.

This too shall pass please

What is your favourite season?

RE: Interview the person below

For the most part I am not but sometimes, when the hormones are blowing in the wrong direction, I can be fairly jumpy.

Do you ever drive above the speed limit?

RE: Interview the person below

Yes, I have and have been told interesting but very vague things.

Would you visit a psychic?

RE: Interview the person below

Can barely afford one car never mind any more.

Do you like driving long distances?

RE: Interview the person below

My youngest son has a playstation 2 but I don't think it works any more and I can't afford to replace it with a playstation 3.

Have you ever been out in a lightning storm?

RE: Interview the person below

My favourites change with my moods, I think. I generally eat seafood when out in a good restaurant, mostly because I don't cook seafood very much at home. I do love pasta as well so seafood and pasta go down very well.

Following instructions on the packet are a start. After a while get a few simple recipes and follow the instructions on them and keep going from there.

Do you play computer games?

RE: Interview the person below

I love when someone cooks for me. With a family I have to cook everyday so it's lovely to get a break. I wasn't very good when I started out but I think I am fairly good now. Practise makes perfect, Salanky.

Would you learn to cook for a special someone?

RE: Interview the person below

I don't do much on msn or facebook any more but I did use them when I did msn and got some new ones as well. It's surprising how many rude ones men come up with laugh

Do you like to cook?

RE: Interview the person below

Yes, Michael McIntyre is the flavour of the month in our house. The kids are watching Bill Bailey at the moment though.

Would you like to have all the emoticons here on your mobile phone?

RE: Interview the person below

Onions are a basic necessity for me. I couldn't live without them. They are in a lot of dishes that I cook.

My weekend was only so-so as I'm not feeling very well but at least I could take it easy and recover before next weekend.

Do you like to watch stand up comedians?

RE: Interview the person below

I tended to eat grass and raw potatoes when I was little but other than snails in garlic butter, I don't think I have been very adverturous in the food department.

What food do you dislike most?
