In my opinion,genuine animal lovers are few, the rest following the trend,for just having a pet.
When i ask people,if aware of laws concerning owing a pet, most say,the have an idea that,there are laws about pets, and when ask again,if have read the laws concerning pets, most reply,(proximity 99.9% ), No they have not. That's figures,as to why some have a pet for few months, then,getting tired for looking after their pet, with the final result the abandon pet to roam the streets.
