I'm going to have to watch my dvd of Billy Elliot again now! A lot of the music is T Rex which is great as I love them. It's, I suppose a very english film in that the events set around the miners strikes and what the families were going through at that terrible time when they were let down by the government and they're own union ultimately. But the film hits on several issues and is positive about many of them.
MB, are you near Aberdeen? that would be another good reason to go there. Would love to meet up with you!
Yes would be going on my own, something I'm not very good at, but getting there! Have a few friends who have gone on holiday alone, but I am still just talking about it! Thought would go meet a 'friend' in Aberdeen as a starter and see how I go!
Painting is easy MB, but always start with the ceiling and take your time, you will be fine, I've been doing it myself for years.
No not been to Scotland, but seriously thinking of flying up to Aberdeen for a weekend soon, one or two things I need to check out up there. Just need to pluck up the courage.
But really want to go up north of Scotland for the northern lights, have you seen them? One of my ambitions which is attainable.
Good to meet you too MB, no not working today, Good Friday, and have bank holiday on Monday so great long weekend, which is good as started a new job last week and it is tiring to learn so much.

Hi Merry, I tend to stick to the forums in here. Have received some flowers from some lovely people, women as well as men, but not got into, off cs friendship, with anyone as yet. But just enjoy hanging around and throwing in my two pennyth sometimes.
I like the way you say things with all your words Windy and wish I could meet someone who I would want to jump in with both feet as you do. Nothing wrong with living the moment, sounds like it has paid dividends for you.
