This may speak to you in an odd way; one of my ancestors settled in Michigan and won the US Open in 1913. Disney has recently made a movie about him.

My paternal ancestor arrived in what is now Quebec, Canada, in 1659, from France. He farmed a 20 acre piece of land until his death. I was able to find an official list of what he left after his death; a mule, 6 pigs, several chickens, 2 cows, a Dutch oven, a few basic pieces of furniture.

When he arrived, his name was recorded phonetically and now has 32 different spellings. One of his off-spring was an original settler of Chicago.

The movers and shakers are dying at 49 years old from stress. Got to get that promotion, have to impress my parents, neighbours, wife, etc.

Some have actually asked to be buried in their Ferrari. So sad. If there is a god, I don't think that he wanted us to win and horde all the goodies.
