Angry Words

The angry words spoken are not
It is hurt from the heart hidden below
The tears that creep into the eyes are not for sorrow
Happy joys left from yesterdays
Reaching to be touched
Confusion and abandonment parlay
To not know the end comes what may
Judgment sent from what is not
Life and love it is but want
Actions speak louder tis right they do
Which actions to listen to is but play
For the soul sees one then another
Knows not what to partake
Some may be good at play
Others good at bein played
Does it ever stop
A fool rushes in more than not
Is it foolish indeed to be the one deceived
To never know, to never risk
Life and love it is but want for those who believe

Angry words rush forth the foolish mouth
Hurt and slander as they may
Retribution for the foolish actions of the irrational self
What to make of a fool’s play to rise above the parlay
Stand firm in foolish light
What is right and decent to the beast
Rickety road for all to see
A fool’s own belief to be
A kinder soul to thee

Angry words rush forth etching the pain away
Understanding and reason out the window pane
Glorifying in the breakage left
Forgiveness a large pill to swallow for those who have been illogical
Stand tall, stand firm to what is right
Those who do not see the actions in the darkness
Shall never believe the actions of the day
Blinded by their way in hardness they play
Perceiving what they may
No one to stand firm against the back
The dagger hidden from sight
Crippling in its might
Angry words in the fight
Play on wayward son
fool’s will rush in to be played

Cop outs to be given to allow one to slither away
In truth the deceived was deceived in the light
For the angry words crippled the sight
Of one that was true and faithful despite the might
In the end only one wins
The one that never gave up hope
Tho the words spoken in haste hurt
Tis truth that sets one free
Angry words spoken back
Set free the light within

Battlefield

So longing turns to honest reflection
The bright dawning of day
For once upon a time two people met
Not one honest with the other
Ones fancy lead to the others disgrace

He danced the dance a time or two
Only to his own heart be true
Not seeing what was before him still
Pointing out the discord of others that played
He stood apart from the battle where hearts layed
His battle scorn heart protecting that which lay within
Not looking deep to see one’s own sin

She ponders the thought of what she did
Knowing full well her reflection hid
Afraid to say no to his lead the empty destruction of his heed
Wanting only to share in the light, darkness fell upon the delight
She knew deep within the fiery darkness he lay
She was weak to the sorrow sin for her own battles lay within
She walked into the evil guile believing only in goodness desires

So evil had its way bringing down two hearts for what they portrayed
Scorn and dislike lay in its wake, it is not enough to be true to you
Life is too short to live in your own glory
Accept your part in the battles that play, for you were as much apart of the fray
All the blame cast upon the other once again
It is hard to see one’s own part but this we must not depart
Accept one’s own faults in the stumbles of the dance
I have and will tho shame bears its part, be honest with your dealings with me
Be honest with your part for the battlefield reflects the bloody depart
Of a war between and within thyself is clear to see
The gun was lifted, loaded and shot
The marching came upon the doorstep you entered
The blood was taken from the saber tongue
To kill all peace within once again

Fallen Angel Part 2

Born again into the light the angel stumbles from the fight
Weary is her troubled heart unable to feel the goodness in the human soul
These are creatures of selfishness to do no good for the rest
Loving words and kind actions do not foil the nest laid to honor idols of man
For the devil playes his hand with merciless desire to hinder the love begotton
Her weary wings do tire, for one who may show God’s loving desire
Battered and bruised she asks the Lord
Shine a light unto me of one who is also true to thee

He lays his palm by her side guiding her to yet another surprise
Dear angel your work here is not done
You bring light to those who have seen so dark they do not know what is about
Do not cower it is but right
Your work here is a shining light
Greatest of glories are yet to unfold,
Rise up from your fallen stance it is but my love that is a matter of perpetual lance
Do not show me disgrace and fall to the fiery pits below, cast off the talons of this world below

For a glimmer of firelight he shed unto her the peaceful moments of love so true
Binding and caring for one another as the Lord God had chiseled in stone
Friendship and love in holy trinity it began in such radiance
Only to fall once again to such abatement in worldly desires
Idols placed around her so to hinder the sight and word of the true deity
How troubled she became in this world with no shame
Man in his truest of form living in depth of the scorn
Wings of love fading glory as the weight of the lost pulls her to their grandeur

Wings scorched and bruised heavy with the burden
She whispers holy holy holy is thee but no one listens no one walks with thee
Step forward stumble, the passionate fire struggles to survive
It is withered and worn from the naïve human form
Troubled and toiled she carries on the love of the one from that above
Her back marked with the cross she bears for the love of the highest one
Wounds upon her bosom she bears for him above alone
She falls from her angel disguise so his love above abides to shine for him on the ground below

Never fear fallen angel his love abides
Above all else in disguise
Broken wings will heal with his loving stance and the heat of fire reside
To love another he has commanded as he loves you
Angel fallen and scorned rest easy in his care
True love comes from above in his fiery stare
No greater gift could have he bestowed
Then to walk in his likeness so

Fallen Angel part 1

Her wings how scorched they became
Shedding light to others from nigh to day
Everlasting in her love, to each she became just what was
Needs fulfilled tenderly, each touch caress a measure of love
To give of herself destined she was
She gently caressed each brow before her hand with love
Guiding and leading in her wake the brightness to her quake

She was sent from heaven above
To soothe the aching of one love
But evil had its day, taking apart another love start
The lord let her sit there and ponder, to know the love hath gone under
He let her be the light to which others might see
If only a glimmer of what was to be
For she was his child, to touch upon others a light without guile
An angel in child’s form bringing light to darkness in her stumbles

The Lord he had plan’s for this little angel he sent
Her golden hair to flow in heavenly glow
The years spent in youthful assent
To other’s pain she may ease, with mercy he had sent thee
The Lord he decided a gift she so deserved
To show her the love that he so held for her
Angel’s needing reminding of the Lord’s full grace
And angel to her he sent in his place, to love and to hold and cherish his kind

He gifted this angel with the greatest exhaltation
That which his own dear mother had truly blessed
To give of one’s own true flesh for the world full of sin and digress
This angel how she did stumble upon this one tribulation
To know the ache and pain human heartache can endure
Weathered from one heart must be torn the love of a mother be born
King Solomon’s wisdom placed on the mantel
True mother give of her child for a child’s life is to be

This angel stumbled and clamored so
Life blood of humanly disgrace unfold
She screamed and she shouted turning her back so as dark clouds withered below
The stumbles, the falls, the heartache, the pain
Human desires to be of no blame
Evil words written to offend an angel of the Lord turned in sin
The wreckage of such a young seraph wings broken under such shame
She raises her weary head in exhault, Lord I am no good without thee, Holy Holy Holy is thee

Tears flow in humanly form down the bosom upon her sworn
He reaches his hand in loving kind brushes the tears once again for thine
Reach out once again dear angel to one that I want to be mine
He lifts her just a bit to look back out to this evil pit
Raise a light it must be to be planted for me
Not once, not twice, but three times a must in stumbles of the dust
Burning brightly one must to break the chains of the crust
Bring hope and forgiveness to this fight

Kansas

A voice spoke deep inside crossing that borderline

The wind creeped below the shell of my soul to settle for which unknown

A quiet mystery penetrates the soul

Fields flowing to and fro, calling calling calling

Reaching out so hard and fast I knew not a name to be called

The longing had begun, a call to rest the weary soul

Home, home, home how can this be

A strange land to the eyes behold having not stepped before

I look one flight to my eyes a wonder

Gently rolling hills of grass and trees

Sharp crevices etched upon thee

Post after post, intertwined with barbwire

What do I see before me, calling my name calling calling

Home home home how can this be

The richness of the beauty bringing longing to thy soul

Simple and quaint marked by time,

Unmarked in the ageless flight of life

Strong backs behold here is the place

Where solid folks rest their make

Against sun worn days of toil and trouble

Solid in their stance of what is has always been

And forever shall be

Life in the towns, pastures and plains to see

Lasting into eternity

Calling my name again to be alive for times of solid lines

Hold strong to the past moving gently forward

Strong I will need to remove the citified appendages,

The anger of the crowd and lost souls encountered

Strength comes from that which is solid and fertile

A tree cannot grow in cemented ground

Wide open spaces and fertile ground to spread and nourish

Here is where I call my home

It called me over and over set your roots to be planted

Tend gently in fertile ground, solid footings will be found

I will heal, and I will hurt but I will heal again

For it is calling unto my soul this is the land, this is the place

And it is ready to undo what is wrong

A whole lot of toil to nourish the loss

Home home home this is how it be

Before You Kiss Me

Look deep into my eyes before you kiss me, For kisses do not speak alone
Talk to me before you touch me, The fire will scorch the words below
Trust me with your heart and I will do the same. Love is grand it will hurt and it will heal.
Do not shower me with gifts or flowery words, the glitter of gold is not for me.
Caress my back as I tend to a task, and join in the ruckus to be had.
Love me gently with kind thoughts, believing in my warmth to surround.
Fury comes in a quick firelight, And I run to hide in the daylight.
Blending in to hide the sorrow not in darkness but amongst the light,
Tis the best place to hide, right out in front of the light.
Firmly planted will I be forever more within me, this is me you see.
When I open myself to love, it is with everything inside written all over the line.
Trust me with your heart and I will do the same. Love is grand it will heal and it will hurt.
I love as my father’s daughter, and fear as the same as I know no other.
Love me quick, and long, and hard, and deep but do not love me alone
Love yourself enough to know that I can love you too, just as I would do for you
The feather of magic I have touched, now speak to me in words of trust
I will not chain a soul that is for you to do for love does not place chains around our hearts
I plant my garden to decorate my soul, is that the same for you?
Trust me with your heart and I will do the same. Love is grand it will hurt and it will heal.

Sometimes we are unable to say the words that are inside of us to the one person they should be said to, these are words left unsaid.

The Boy of Fall

The boy of fall
He pulls his weight over and over
Rushing past, faster than the other
Where is it, where is he
The determination in front of him to reach
Shining star to catch
Zig zag back and forth
The crunch of pads and helmets met
Push forward to the reach
Excursion builds as he plows forward
No sound no sight but one
To put that man to the ground
The sweat of practice on his brow
Cheers from crowds in a din
Leather and metal clash together
They fall as one in the crush
Oh my son, oh my son
Born in the springtime for the harvest fun
Your passion abides between the lines
Plow forward between the tide

Binding Night

you stepped into the light of the kitchen bright
barely able to stand upright
oh how my heart went out to bring you comfort through out
to give you solace and comfort for the doubt
that plagued you all about
my arms took yours and lead to comfort for thee
gently laying your head next to mine such sweet harmony
chin placed on my shoulder arms holding me tight
your breath upon my cheek lulled me to sleep
I thought only to give you comfort that night
When what to my surprise you pierced thru my demise
You gave me comfort lasting longer than that night
Wrapped in your gentle arms did I
Feel such peace unbeknownst to the eye
Oh dear sweet darling do you not know
How that one night holds me so
I try to let go but it holds me tight
Even when you are far from sight
I need you now darling more than I know
And words won’t let me tell you so

His Love

The winds of change are blowing
To where I fall yet unknown
It is high, it is low
Ever steady beneath my soul
His breath upon my bosom
His hand shines forward
Guiding me from darkness through
Steadfast and true
It began with the dawn
It is everlasting glory from above
Eternally begotten
I desire but to be one
One journey of many souls
From hell to eternity
There is but one grace to be found
It is his love abounds

These Tears

Tears trickle down the cheek so
Over what I do not know
Words exchanged in heated form
Only to be left on deaf ears alone
Was either right or so
Tis not matter for the harm be done
Pride and fear came about to do their harm
And tears trickle down the cheek so
Ahh but the darkest hand moves swift
In unjust form
Words but unheard, left unknown
The silence burns the day and glows in the night
As tears trickle down the cheek so
Judgments made to do harm
Ahhh how they highlight unknown flaws
Made from the unheard words
Emotions confound
Ahhh but the scorn of an intimate trust
Tears trickle down the cheek so
To accept my blame I must
To accept all the blame I cannot trust
Yet tear trickle down the cheek so
For what I do not know
Words repeated over and over but left unheard
Tis not so, they were left not understood
They were left not wanting to be known
For pain goes deep in the soul
Scars cover the heart so
A barrier to the known
And tears trickle down the cheek so
For what I do not know
But the darkest hand moves swift
All compassion gone.

Morning Dove

Hey there up yonder
What are you doing all alone
No morning song to share above
Wistful coo of the morn
The sweet sound of the song sung to the mate always by your side
Where did she go Morning Dove
Where did she go
The soothing sound keeps her near
Broken only in absence
Morning dove, morning dove sing for me
Your wistful coo from above
To soothe the aching in my heart
The soothing sound of your love
For the one from up above
Remind me of his power, remind me of his love
Sing for me the soothing coo that he is always near
And shines right thru
Sing for me oh sing for me Morning Dove
Lest I forget
The sound of the love between two that met
Morning Dove, Morning Dove surely she will come back
It is the sound of your love that guides her
Did you not know?
So sing for me, sing for me to remind her so
Your love did not end wherever she may go
Morning Dove, Morning Dove what is it you say
Stationed so pristinely up above
Chin held high through the darkness
The light comes from above
I do believe I understand
Morning dove all alone no need for sound
Simple lines from the worldly gait abound
Long suffering does not last when he abounds
Truth and light shine forth in the smallest of us
A treasure to be found
Thank you very kindly Morning Dove for your arrival
And for your reminder of him above
Woo ooo wooo hoooo
Oh there she be, see I told you so
Morning Dove, Morning Dove share your love so
The sound of your song brings love abiding
And there is your mate for reminding
Peace my feathery friend
I will recall your kindness
