Who listens
the piano plays
the violin
crests so neatly
the harp stills the night
as plucking sweet
petals
a deepening tone of piano
in E and F
No room for another
A semitone
So gracious, yet so out there!
12 string
gathering the rain
then
un blinded
fluid with the river
thumb sounds
from the heat
swing that potion
move the moments
sweet the smile that
rises
to the rhythm
hips and groove
flicking through the sound
a fire beyond
yet
tight your gaze
Slip
Grasp
Surrender
"Remember"

I venture out
Thinking some was true
Having split scenes
I knew
of talking poetry
of creeping a word
to posts I knew
caught up with absurb
I love that
I can not reel away
from what some posts
in their own may say
Rough and tumble
sweep my words of depth
for may be
it shall be from the step
In the end shall be
a game as all
that
sparks the flame
A silence
that become us all
A Rough and Tumble
as we fall

Just writing

That music!
I waited with much glee
the ice cream truck
music playing
It came to me!
my coins so sweated
in my hand
just one dollop
for me
in my hand
no double ice cream for me
no matter
Here it was
a pyramid of glee
I saved enough for chocolate coated
wind and rain
smelling gumboots
shivering duly noted
MR Whippy man
Mind that child
a way to learn
I wait patiently
for my turn

You left me from the sun
tried to warm
your feet upon the moon
but I came around once again
eclipsed like a friend
There's no hiding from the rocks
as surely they will
flock
I tired so hard
kept you here with me
yet I knew
crystals see
a wonder to behold
an old rock
you slipped away
fleeting from my hold
silent nothing for your sway
as you gather all the stars
and write
within the universe
I my love
only
hold back upon a curse
read and stumble within
happy scope of the heart
for I see you forgive me
a wrong I must immerse
I shall drown amongst my sorrow
no look upon a hand
For I know
my forgiveness
Lays amongst the grains of a sand

About this poem:
That will teach me for going to the beach
Post Comment
Ever dance upon the sand?
leaving wayward footprints
no one cares
where they stand
Ever smell the wet of leaves
as trudging though
Waitakere
hugging trees
Ever floated in the sea
no cares
and gone are fears
Ever looked at sunsets
then looked behind
for no one
yet all was fine
Ever tried to answer
yet no words would spill
yet at another moment
you picked up the quill
Ever cried alone?
knowing all was good
as you sat
yet a temple you stood
Ever wrote a poem
that all was you
then here I am
I bid you adieu

Sitting so proud
a giver for all around
That green casserole dish
which I knew
held no fish
plonked in the center
no elbows on the table
Who says prayers
I thought
Lets tuck in
I am able
"For what we are about to receive"
The lid was lifted!
Oh! the smell
patiently waiting
my tummy could tell
sizing up my sisters plate
She's got more
but that was my fate
as each round of meat
I could now
so delicatley
dig and eat
I broke all rules
and swooped upon my delight!
with tiny hands ate and sucked
They ner not look at me
as they were the same as me!
stand me on the beer box!
dishes shall be no fear
I loved my oxtail stew
When my family was so near

dancing to the sun
knees folded
making daisy chains
for fun
His glasses slanted
reflecting rainbows
he looked at me with love
I knew it
I felt safe
the warmth from up above
a rickety chair
his lap blanket near
all crocheted
with nana's hands
I touched and smelt
her beautiful lavender air
"Poppa?" I asked
"why do like the sea"?
"Ah! he said
When I am gone
come here again
this is where I'll be"
That's nice
then you'll never go?
"my heart is here"
he said
then lovingly
patted me on the head

About this poem:
For the love of my poppa
My childhood memory when I was 7yrs old.
He spoke very beautiful, in his old Irish accent
Post Comment
From all the tides of time
he was
always mine
yet a crimpest face I knew
To walk within the field
Ragged for if I fell
If it was him
I surely
would
yet no darkest would be grim
As my feet shall follow
my heart wanders to you
upon the broken glass
pouring tears
reaching quietly on the hollow
I have always loved you
let no doubt trip you on the stream
yet allow my love for you
knit you in my seam
for gathered skirts
and diamond laces
I can only weep
within the guns
of fields
Of lonely places

About this poem:
Just a thought back to yester year
Post Comment
For all things I have said
For all silent moments
as I lay upon my bed
For all the words that were taken
so cruel
I just want to use touching hands
against the fool
oh! rip the face of clowns
sit and wallow with the sound
I realise that here is those
a word within the prose
wandering through the maze of words
little farmer just tastes the curds
a beautiful drop
within the cup
I am but only just a mere me
sitting alone
under my tree
as little piglets snuff around
what truffles have they found
To push for answers is actually wrong
maybe
with
an almighty song
who cares who dares
who are we
to only at times answer
stop stop and flee
Its a moment in time
no hurt so much
but I look to when you come home
a wilderness
I am not alone

About this poem:
I could of curved it a bit?
Maybe?

She haunched
as the
little widow warmer does
no web no home
no pushing to a shove
touching delicately
each leg and arms in time
upon the ancient wood
If I could
I just would
stand within my prey
but foot steps leave
not a time for another grieve
Why is this so easy?
does bait flow upon my shore?
or with sodden boots
come crushing!
standing on my floor
upon another day
a silent goulish body
waits upon her prey

About this poem:
I just lOVE The Weta
Post Comment
I lay to bed and went not to sleep
as fog raised like snuffs from cows
all was silent memories
a warmth only to face
Such sadden night was mine
turning upside down
a bent on wrong
tears laying
within my frown
I would want to write of deep strewn poetry
yet scattered upon the floor
kicked amongst the history
lay bleeding against the door
as scattered papers
and blood within the words
shrilled such wrong
ticking time
a distance song
I feared to look away
such grace
that one has shown
to fall upon your face
grappling irons
lay silent
as hanging
nightmares
stilled at times
with grief
and yet
as the shadows of my night befell me
cryptic screams
laying dormant
the sun moved into her place in time
I closed the book
of bloodlet crime

Who pulls me forward?
leave my grasp!
a warning cold
I seek
let me feel the drowning
the silence of the bed
a change from feet to tail
a caressing sea weed
lovingly
tucked within my scale
an illuminous heaven
lays down upon my tears
I have had my time of moon light
a sun you can only feel
for a soul of mine
you cannot just take
for I shall just be swept away
within the perfect
Wake
