"Upon the Lily Pad"

She sat upon her lily pad

on gentle waters rippled

eyes so deep

cradling the moon and stars
and all that was within her

her fingers dipping gracefully
into the blue pool of serenity

her smile shone unto the heavens

her thoughts of what glories lay beyond the dancing stars
lifted her spirits so

she flew amongst the moonlight
within her soul she knew

this beautiful little angel
a gracious flight was due

Twisted Magical

"Shall the temptation of winding truth spew to many that but only grasp the gulps of some to hiccup the sadness of fleeing sparrows".

How wonderful xx

Missy Moo Where are you?

She lay rolling around my gate
her tiny body huge yellow eyes
tuxedo, her gait

Never had a cat
skinny happy little girl
go on girl go back home

And there she still sat

As day went into night
there she still sat

poking her paws
at Bix's jaws
thru my gate

Abused by her owners

she adopted me that night along with Bix
I have loved her ever since

That was 5 months ago
then wednesday last week
she never came home

I have never felt a loss of a kitten/cat, tears flowed
I have never had a cat

Bix and I were troubled, it was awful, never again
That loss was huge
We wallowed in sadness

Searching seeking watching hawks
was she dead on the roof

Then I saw a hawk with a black mound in its mouth
Bix barked
She was gone

It was days I cried
It was days Bix was silent
But I knew the food chain
would not not lie

7 days later
after mountains of tears
I released my Missy Moo
to move on

I sat in the lounge and prayed
my little girl had gone

8th day

Then I heard a cry
I ran to the porch
and there she was

struggling to walk
but able to talk

My Missy Moo
Came home!
Yellow eyes, tuxedo coat
sporting a smile with a beg

and now she has a $1000.00 leg!

About this poem:
I found her, she adopted me and my dog bix, she was mistreated and we gave her a loving home. xx

All animal lovers will know the sadness when unexpected things tragic happen to their animals.
Its seem my kitten was booted by someone/something. Enough to break her leg,. I live on a farm, so maybe she came to close to an animal?

You beautiful stranger

I shall taste the sky again
i shall caress the warm waters of the shallows
I shall embrace the wind on my soul
I shall soak the droplets of rain onto my heart

for you have now gone

oh! you beautiful stranger

footprints
i see so clearly

time shall only wash over them

my passion shall remain

everything
but touch
oh
such a need in life
to be true
to be true

I treasure every memory
i hear your beautiful voice
i melt in to the music
leaving my body and soul to flee to you

the loneliness begins at night
then finds some secret way of venturing into my day
yes
time is the healing band

just trying to move on from the pain

Goodnight beautiful man

A forgotten Girl

On spectrum palate
curving colours

it was night of calm

sensing smells of farm
speakers mourned

barking intrusion
such comfort

road to be
no more
bridges

stolen
felt

no more
of what was

I must drive on

Down the Rabbit Hole

Always skirted around many a fundamental
inquisitive
I was by far

ducking and diving through many religions
that was my Ma

strange days of knocking on doors
"isn't this a beautiful day"
as the weather pushed its plan

I questioned much
as young as I was
yet told to quietly sit

maybe I just didn't fit?

years have seeped into memories
it's a wonderment of a trilogy
a peep back in the past
so I could see

That really
It is
all within oneself

to dust the cobwebs from the shelf

To what has gravitated
to a pool of knowledge

Such a nice day to reap amongst the foliage

A wonderful walk with Cafe

I remember when you first opened to come to the poets corner
we welcomed you
a momentary scary time of writing poetry

you were and are just amazing
you had your'e way and full of love
goodness
with the Lord in your soul
hesitant you went then stride by stride
you were who you are

I loved you Cafe
you knew that

for all your'e open blesses
you wrote with such passion and
fell so sweetly into
dam right!

the caring sweet soul that
stood fast
cool
funny
and True

time leaves us
yet the sun as you say will shine
and there you are

warming my back
being who you are

just a beautiful day

Thank you my dear sweet man

you spread the love

the life
the togetherness with
the Lord
Welcome Home

Weeping Oak

He flicked his coat tails
and rested
upon the entrails

What was in
is now without
as hooded eyes lowered towards his book

as each paper
so blew within his hand
knowing not
where they may land

The falling tears
the grief beyond
Yet beautiful
a swimming swan

A looming closure became
as he of many
will never tame

courteous and sly
My oh My!

glancing at the tower
all pain all gone

so lucid in the power

Yet he sits
amongst tall trees
unbridled
and free

Shall we sit awhile?

A Walk to the Window

Gripping breathing
so such a solitary
blankness

yet striving

gather your
mind

anxious?

Take a breath

open those curtains

Sunshine
has come home

The Foot Path

My toes touched the sand
beauty
softness
barefeet

I saw footprints

many

I placed my foot in many
some big some small

some steering there some steering over yond

what footprint was I following?
what
was on their mind?

I don't know

but I walked concaved into a
footprint
I wondered who would
walk in mine

The Beat goes on

Sleeping
not curing the haggled staid of war

Other Eyes open

Is it still
beating its drum

yes

of course

Awake

fight
for
the next
live
to
be aware

then
know your friends

"Slipstream"

He shone his strength of light
with weary feet he stole the night

To hasten to ones call

howls of beauty throughout the dawn
captured, to her radiant scorn

Of pity and sadness
she had broke her silence

To bloom among the dunes
to shelter, held within the caves

No tidal seas bring my love

what love calls out and yet enslaved

My naked feet came home to dance
washing tides a caressing chance

When silence veiled
I halted for only a moment

of scardeness within me

Cruel times were just lent

What was I seeking
where does this soul of mine

destine me

or does it at all?

Falling rain
a cleansing quiver

washing nothing
yet streams of shiver

My eyes so misted
but colors so full

My heart pumped out
grasping breath

No penny the toll

Looking into the wake

I then saw my soul
