I moved between the worlds
I sat silently
and watched
sweet wine
of yester year
I held and swam with the vine
A jig saw
just a hiddden dream
shunning life,
A brilliant scream!
sowing a knitted plasma
pearl,plain,pearl,plain
of needles held
of surely sane
of trodden toes
hands grieve for the meal
of solid mortar
the bricks so placed
spitting sores
squezzed to be humbly laced
Not what in our past
shall bring such great reveal
but a future
of Seams
I swim beneath
windswept plaines
Or I fly so timley
yet
broken to my knees
For all I U give
Let there be careing
some just unhinged
within the clasp
Eternal shining
for ever
AT
LAST

Who the hell was Valentine
Did he shine his boots.
Did he change the day
pulling in the sails
across the whales
Did he come to her so secretley
Did the world change?
Did he unlace?
Or,
even showed his face.
Did he play a song
So what
Did I fell to the throng
My Valentine…
Upon wasted waters
You arose
Crippling rose beds
Seething sounds
I waited
The mountains moved
My Valentine
Just
a name
Bending on knees
Shall I bow
As You.. no!!
What a wonderful day!
To
Only gather
One more day
I love you..

A mere bones to the dust
All gone
was it just
No cries of lost
slipping feeling
that hair that tossed
the biting play
just wanted it all to stay
all gone now
just gone so suddenly away
rest those weary bones
upon a sunscorched rock
curled then stretched
for no one to see
to hurtfully mock
Instinct to move
at only
"when"
dusk slips silently
upon my soul
my blood heaves
my life my goal
I seek again
I ROAR!
I SOAR!
my inner urge
to not withstand that circled surge
For past doth never comes to a close
shall but it not, surely
leave its imprint
a dash of life
kicks like fire within my sprint
I as you
can only but love
of peace and beauty
flying upon the wings of a dove

who had an iron gut like a flightless moa
mutton birds his nightly meal
gorging with his river smoked eel

The great doors opened
Upon his step
lay many souls
Gathered held and loved
within his
sweeping heart
Black coat hanging
upon
cemented erect shoulders
standing proud
His face of ashen love
a map of many hurts
yet placed to one side
for his way is to only
suck in your pain
and share his....
to enable you all
to accept
Love pain loss
A great light with that darkness
always silhouetted behind him
He will turn his head to you
He will give all
till nothing is left
dwelling within your soul
As one who gives all
shall know within
That beautiful darkened soul
Knows like me
The many roads we stumble
For he like me
will say
I am here
All is well
With spoken words
he expells
"All my grief
I have to bare"
"but tis only to help YOU here"
most steadily on Your way
You like me
No cross to bare
But to forever gather
those that seek
That need those gentle comforting words

With halted breath
I still breathed within
Filling eyes together
unstoppable
A rush within
Separation of
ones lips
An entry
such a delicious warmth
lays longing
upon our kiss
Please
Kiss me
Again

sharpness will come quick and swift
as one might be speared
you wont cry out,
"I am dead!"
you will ponder
"why"
then you breath
once again
taking that deep breath
looking out
your door that was slightly open
Open it wide, many a wondrous play is out there
to put pen to paper
As we all write and share,
How open is really anyone's door?
but really, who cares?
Its not about that..
let that woven mat of words
swing, slide. grip. stand, free fall from grace, rise to utopia, which ever way you create a space to place your words.
At times the spear will fall
Or be aimed, now that's special....
One does not always see through the same sphere...
That's how we make friends..
Tis the beauty of friendship

About this poem:
and to all of us that hold that spear, it takes courage to throw it for the reasons they felt,
and I know we have all done that at some stage..
Just a nice afternoon in NZ....kicking back at the beach bach....

For in my
"Now"
My solitude sits so serenely
To be away from, detached from,
is truly me and you
And that's ok
A raw sadness of longing
sits
and that's ok
To be alone
to sweep those memories into our souls
Then only then can we begin to love ourselves
Out there
is many a different journey
I do not keep to the path
merely look out towards the sunrise and the sunset
Nature growth
embraces and surrounds this life
Look at the colors she lays before you
We forget we also are nature
what colors do you radiate out?
A life bestowed on us
Cobbled yet smooth at times
lessor,familiar
the jagged pathways
When no lifesaver in sight
Now
Sighting pathways around those holes
as we do
It
Always
Was
the Central Point
"Ourselves"

I really never did see a time
when my feet
were placed upon your mind
They seem to rise
go on their journey
I tried to hold it
all at once
didnt work
just stumbled
with one knee to the ground
lifting trying to halt that
ache
expelling all fears
washing away the tears
Waking the caverns of my soul
then in silence
I waited to pay my toll
The wake you ask?
tis' the wake I look
at times
to only gather
and know
what was left behind?
tilling toils of the mind
What we reap
We also sow

With the earth to the rain
That which quelches my thirst for life
I am ripe for you
Like a fruit kissed by the sun
take me now before the autumn comes
please
do not let me spoil
do not wait for others
to find me
those leaves brown and spent
drop silently to the ground
My love
long non sleepfull nights
followed by half sleeps
Like a bulb
in the cold dark ground
my heart squeezing tears from my eyes
such distant memories
such a hope of summer
such warmth to the earth
seeds of hope swell
stirring the soulfull passion
colliding againsts a fading dark
kiss me now
to suck and savour that breath
My heart beats again

Of strangest days
do they befell one?
or do they just creep upon us?
what turn did the desire seek
what chance
what fear
did the decision make
turning within
Growing up?
to not know where
slipping silently
a cross to bear?
Letting go
setting free
It happens to you all
and me
of cradled yield
golden the crop
for once was taken
floundering chances
Twas right!
the open dances
for the beauty of the dance is
LIFE
the rhythm
the music
is the
PATHWAY
I say!!
Play it again Sam!
