Unleashed

I dreamed of deep strewn poetry
yet scattered upon the floor
kicked amongst the history
lay bleeding against the door

as strewn papers
and blood within the words
shrilled such wrong
mine eyes

feared to look away
What! such grace
that one has shown
to fall upon your face

grappling irons
lay silent
as hanging
nightmares

stilled at times
with grief
and yet

as shadows of my night
came to only haunt
my sudden flight

sewer streams
flowed between my legs
care not I cast

as lips
cursed
within my blood

take me away
I shall flow

scraping voices
within the mud

The Mad Nubian Goat Herder

"there she goes"
they whispered and grinned

"that's the mad Nubian Poet"
"I hear she has sinned"

"she has friends though?"
"Yeah right, I'm sure she has

one"

"not too sure
she seems like fun"

"she lives on farm now"
"what does that say"

"milking goats
and no play?"

"look at her wellies"
"all painted with signs"

"but they are circles of peace"

"yeah, she's so hippy"
"behind the times"

"ssssshhh, she's heading our way"

"More wine with your cheese?"
"I welcome your stay"

A tender smile
broke like a rainbow
over her face

As under her swannie

Was leather and and lace

Oh! Nathaniel!

From gentle hearts
does one swoon
or is this a play
mixed within the womb

cry as you
die as might
who really is the star tonight

cracking paces gripping solace
riding the back of
succulent molluscs

grasping tethered feathers
sand dunes
a rightly home

who cares
towards the drums that beats

if I could only strum a tear
yet play the heart
bring silence

with no fear

they want to judge you now

as powers that be

come not
sit amongst
we shall
let it be

but stand
ner'falsify

within your cloak

Yet

lean upon your trim
for to give away the thread

falling crushed to your knees

they know not
you are
HIM

History Repeating

Get up you must go!

gather not your things!
just go!

a screaming thought
bound my mind

OH NO!!!!

As I scrambled to wrap my body warm
the enemy about to swarm

to run upon land
that grieved my rule

flapping flags
so tattered and burnt

blistered heart
not the feet

give me a light
to press defeat

mud raised toward my face
a running maiden
no care of broken lace

No heart was there
an empty death seem so true

then along
my troops came through

As holding hard to heart
with armor held high

I called
"fight the them!"

for they, shall always lay

Swing me a sword
let them not take my ground

never let them trample the starved

for as I breath for you all

do or die

my name you shall monger

Carved

A Fleeting Moment

For all the tangled journeys
a jumble
of laughter

at times
of anguished tears

to feel
the soft silken road

lifting screams of supreme allure
then afloat
a guiding wip

only the words of near
yet so far
a breath so stolen

hinged upon the madness

seeking melting within ones mouth
to only
Spit upon the worthy
then raise

clawed and bent
the closure of the den

Of stagnant waters
yet a running
of memory flows

You stand amongst me now
as i so trodden within the deep

I did
but only love

a mirror within my keep

let not you pray upon me
no please I beg

for you have known the dark
of words can only seal

I may have wronged you
pray pity on my life

I need not know
the
others
I turned and watched
throughout the strife

As aged legs and hollow eyes
See me
For I squander the meager
yet feel the narrowness gone

I shall not despise you
yet yes
you would of me

To hold what crumbled
soulless

I can only part to thee

I hear the rats of hunger
I feel the biting time

rags slipping from wracken limbs

a hope of life in death

or

to die
and just be dead

whom shall place the flowers

Do I know?
I am dead

they may

"Have no title"

"by the time you read this"
they may have been lost
"on wings of love"

"like the pig"
"out in the dark"

"run far away"
as
"in your hands wrapped"

The Phantom

The show is over
curtains close

once upon
is over

for those

to go about their darkened streets
tiptoeing
forgetting

the lonely rose

upon the woodened stage
a silence
of crickets echoed

an actor to whom many
secretly loathed

I sat within this smell
of old aged floors

alone happy

he'd gone

wrapped within a cause

like the phantom
he strung his love

covered gracefully
always
crouched from up above

I could not leave
I wanted more

yet took my crumpled letters
stole towards the door

a fleeting glance behind me

a mere shadow
silhouetted with rain

I screamed so hollow
tripping then fell

knowing our story

Yet

who could tell

Animal Court

The pimpernel arose one morning
with scratches lathed depth within the back

from left to write
an anger

seethed with all that's black

to drag the rug to muddied waters
with no rhyme or sodden reason

I say
stand up you bastard

for you
have committed treason

within this court
of foolish wigs

so standing with the worst of pigs

honk and snort as you do

for I shall slice you
through and through

for wayward words that cut and grovel like lice

hidden you cringe

face one
like me

I'll take you down
through paragraghs of life

bidding you
with no bow in place

adiue sweet one

I rest my case.

Shhhhh... "My Opto"

May I crawl inside you
may I stray around your mind

May I gently peer into
your left and right
and swim amongst my find

May I sit at times
just within you
and soak your life of rhymes

May I stay within silence
a mere shadow in the dark

I shall not harm you
I wont even leave a mark

May I taste your blood of life
and wander to your eyes
can I look through your window

What you see I would not prise

May I lick your lips of laughter
the shrill of smiles upon
secretly you will feel me

A taste from far beyond

May I venture to your pumping heart

I nervously await
I cannot help this feeling

Its you I want to take

A love that is a devourer
sweet feel of all that is within

I wrap my soul to you
with words I must begin

Rest your lips upon mine my love
hold me in your body so sweet

For I shall never leave you
one day we shall meet

I know not from hence you will come
I know not your passionate touch
I know tho...................

Into your labyrinth of..................

Skewered

Creeping from any where
from now
yet from
what was

We have on our own won sudden stalments of silence
begging at times to know the answer

there is no needing to ask why
just a drifting sense

some times standing as solid
"As why Me"

Of all things within our world
Such places
we want for our own

Our way, our seeing, our being, our total that's the now

Yet whom becomes the partner
to stretch as both

to look upon the landscape

to press ahead
have on our own won sudden stalments of silence
begging at times to know the answer

there is no needing to ask why
just a drifting sense
some times its stands as solid
"As why Me"

Of all things within our world
Such places
we want for our own

Our way, our seeing, our being, our total that's the now

Yet whom becomes the partner
to stretch as both

to look upon the landscape
leave me
to just rest

Its just a nothingness
a cloud
to hang rain

yet it is a sky

that beams up
the rainbow

leaving all
loved to fly

A milted moment
craving

a mind of slaving
within a beauty

To jest amongst
the laughter

Of unsteed legs
eyes of gaze

pathways within
the dots
a bed uprising
from the gaze

Skewered
into the loneliness

beat upon the the
thunder

I heard and raised my head

Shall all that rains on me

suffer drops
of glorious thirst

See him?

And I loved him
I saw the warmth within

I was so stricken

He as well

curled
and yet so held

we parted
as you do

like wash
down the flue

haha! you say

but my friend
still is there

and I live without that stare

the funny foolish ways
I knew

no more gathering ways

yet I can love
a friend

who at times
a hand I send

Love
