Lovley Lights

Always saw the lights
weathered words or
moonlit
nights

As different colours

spread so at ease

A thought of silence
a working

insight to see
could it be me?

Nope
yet a little ant

reveling my rant

coursing my way
back

Art

I run through
At
Times I feel the memory
A pace
Hearten beaten
Thumping

Flicks of time
relax me

Can dig that

Swinging to bird song beats
The call
yet disappear

to create
the beauty
that will come and go

grasping is a silent
dying art
Wanna paint

or
faint

Wanna write

and take fold what you create
be strong
spill the
forgotten
under done steak

A Brownies Girl....Not

~Bentlee Challenge-One of your earliest funny memories~ Poem

The days were sunny
hockey sticks in the funny

the water cool
racing in the pool

ballet pointing
wanting to dance
just not
elegance

Sent to "Brownies"
all the immaculate
dressed brimming

Me
finished swimming hair wet
was told
to stay away

kicked out of Brownies

that
day

Never made it to the Girl Guides

About this poem:
I was so into sports and in the late 60's you had to conform as a girl to brownies and girl guides my older sister did wonderfully, but i just was so into sport and dance,

I was in a swimming comp when I turned up at Brownies, and my hair being very long was all wet, I was ordered out of the line up.
My mum probably didn't give me a towel, was not about to tell the brownie leader lady.
We were quite poor.

"The Sum"

Stripped inside the square I stood
dumbfounded'

with frozen gaze
Totally grounded

What one line lay so weak?

Shall a triangle emerge
is, that what I seek

What formula do I see
within the equation

Which sum do I use
to celebrate the formation

From all that of, the mathematicians
more shall be learn't
with wondrus suspicion

Tangling crosses
divisions and equals
I so awaited the deep dark sequels

The key that lay
so out of touch
was a genuine thought
I wanted so much

One day without me knowing
all come to me
and much much more

It was
for all my wanting
and all that was stored

Can one not love from many scenes
i think yes
from all that it means

Logic can be a hidden trait
because unless we know

such an easy way

we all my take

No Blame

I wandered through many open gates
trod a delicate worn path

I Stood alone
I looked out to sea

sadly

there's nothing there for me

Some heartfelt cries from deep within
would bring me to a sigh
My soul was weary

Deep love is just a lie

It brings forth the wrentching ache
No love here to save
Just tears sliding through my heart

To lay upon a watery grave

What level can be put
what measure of the mind

I'm lost again

Its me I cannot find

Your view of me has gone
I look and that is true...

Woe! of Love
is only for the few

It rests within our souls
For wandering times may crawl
Your name upon my breath

I am mute to even call

When sensed

Its how we spend our time.....

I came across you,
and wavered in lieu

Of seconds of the days go by

So, I was in wait of you
It was all a painful lie

There is no blame to cast out
no ragged souls to reel in
Just empty space of time

There is no place for sin

As dawn to moonlight
an opposite love
which took its lonely toll

Here now I stand
against the wind

Just a silent naked soul

Stealth Mode

lifted leaves
either lay
or
to be
underfoot

a colur
settled
spring to
many more
God help you

a scream of...........
about
of
screams
of

vacant
ears

split
to
unheard voices

Rough Shot

Riding through
tail winds
whipping my feet

rains no matter
blinding my eyes

hair stinging my back
but
I
rode on

no sense of cold
just
moving forward
Sunrise
beckons

away
a halt
to see

deep sadness
creeping
release

I am not far

stringing streams
winding minds

moving future

caressing past
spitting out

the last

The writers scene

drifting
blocked

what unlocked

permission
submission

flicking flavour
stealing full stops
a creeping
command
of
sentences

that
call

"Give me the bright time"

loving eyes for me

you left the cause
you walk away from
the words

I care do you
swim

and wash away

no sweeping the bottom
just lifting upon the wave

shuffling shells
to look upon the ocean

one gulp
to dive

one self
to
survive

a stillness

a grappling sun

a beautiful eye that explodes
to check the landscape

There you are!

ALWAYS

Just Slipping Away

Green Green
and rusty orange
of landslide

was it delicately smoothing down the face
or
crashing pulled out by the storm?

To wake to chain saws
no different on a farm

But these were close
Too close

Upted out of bed
dog in tow

walked 4mins to my gate
wow!
a surrender of a cliff face
farmers chainsaws
clearing a haphazard way
awesome gathering

Love this Place
cause I feel for the face

Within the silence of the storm
Next day they came like a transformer army
cleared and sorted

I shall wait unhindered for the next

Bad Buoy (Really?)

rough seaweed
washed through storms

a waited time
stilted to a crash
waves
seeking darkness
fulfilling a loneliness

a wash with whiteness
battling
rocks

Stormy weather

reaps its find
to take away
the curse

of you
