Always harkening
sunrise comes to brave the day
soothing stars by night.

When the rain falls the
sun shines even brighter when
the storm says good-bye.




Love with rough knuckles
a crooked grin,a big heart
spells out my father.

We've been together sixty-five
married years it's true,
And I have never loved a single soul
as I loved you.
You left me here alone and sad,
you could not hear me cry.
Because I was still asking God,
oh why not me God -why.
My days are lost and empty,
there is no one at my side.
You said that we would be together
always-then you died.
You live inside my memories;
you live inside my soul.
My love to you forever
'till this body takes its toll.
And then I'll come to meet you
in that great expanse above.
We'll never leave each other-
I'll be home my dearest love.

The wind wishes me awake to see
the freshly falling snow.
Their beauty still reminds me
of a place I use to know.....
It's been so long since I've been gone,
is there a place to see?
Or will I just see memories
distantly taunting me.

It was high school, we were in love;
our hearts did beat as one.
My heart was full to bursting,
our lives had just begun.
And then you doomed our union
and tore our world apart;
for all the real wrong reasons
you broke my open heart.

The snowflakes are like memories
falling slowly to the ground;
that disappear so quickly
without making any sound.
The wind reminds me briefly
of the beauty of the snow,
that comes and goes so swiftly
like the love we used to know.

I walked across the mountains.
I sailed across the seas
to find my one real true love,
that God had made for me.

But when I stopped the walking
and sailing far and wide;
the one that I was looking for
was there right at my side.

He wasn't many miles away.
He did not live next door.
He found his way into my heart
to stay for ever more.

A healer she was meant to be
beside her age and time
born of mage and mystery
and secrets so sublime.
A mane of red,with eyes
of green and fire deep inside
a loving touch with power such
would make a grown man cry.
Wisdom was her teacher
patience was her friend-
a heart forever true from
beginning to the end
of time itself her message
flows to heal the hearts
she tends.
She questions not her purpose
her soul behind it all-
to life's e'erchanging,
memorizing,mystifying thrall.
Do not despair and hold on tight
She'll find you yes it's true,
aand comfort with eternal love
because she loves YOU too.
A healer with a heart of love
so willingly to share.....
her name is Akyrena and
she does because she cares.

Lonely inside
my world of hurt,
I peek between the blinds.

The colors all have
left my heart
I think I lost my mind.

Awash amidst a sea
of pain I see
no reason left.

A daily battle
to survive-the gift-
my senses kept.

And yet I keep on
trying still despite each
onslaught done.

Holding head and heart
up high knowing
I have won.

Don't e'er give in
dont e'er give up
to your own heart be true.

Stand tall and proud
inside yourself-
begin each day anew.

I am a child of God
no shoes upon my feet.

I have no house or home
I live upon the street.

I struggle every day
I just want to survive.

I ask myself most every day
Why am I still alive?

One night when I was crying
I heard a voice so near

I jumped with fear and worry
She said, I will dry your tears.

I've come for you, I need
your help
Your Father's waiting there

A world of dreams unlimited
A life without a care.

I said, where have you been
She said , I've been here all along

When you were weak or tired
It was I that made you strong.

I opened up my eyes and saw
a bright and shining light.

My heart was warm, there was
no pain
despite the cold dark night.

She said, my child once you
were lost
your shepherd you have found.

I said, you're sure it's me
you want
She reached without a sound.

And then i knew without a doubt
that my life was all done.

She said, Oh don't be silly child
Your life has just begun.

My eyes are wet with tears-

the lonely night brings fears.

But hope is light within my heart.

My faith is deep, it will not part.

I stand alone, but wise and tall;

true to myself through it all.

My gift to you I say,
perhaps just words but they are true.
I have nought but my heart
so this verse I give to you.

It comes form deep inside me
where no one else can go;
emotion,feeling,joy,delight
alas for you I'll show.

These words are meant for
nought but you,
their meaning to explore;
fields of imagination-
here is the key....
come open up the door.

I feel your heart,

it speaks to me.

It shows me what

I cannot see.

Close your eyes

and call my name;

and you will also

feel the same.

Beautiful girls from heaven above,

the girls I adore, the girls I love.

The sun smiles upon my face

on each and every day;

they light my room, they light my heart

in each and every way.

Unique and special always,

they sparkle my whole world.

I love you girls, my heart to you

will always be unfurled.
