Tribute to Sir Steven

You rose as if from in a dream
in early shades of morning's fall
to pique my interest for the day
and not give into lonely thrall.

A message sent from many miles
oer sea and land and air
a spark of ornamental hope in
stately knightlike flair.

The lady of the lake herself
would smile inside her heart
to know that love's dear sweet repose
created a new start.

Regale the trumpets of life's words
Rejoice in moments bards would sing
Remembering the sweetness felt
For after winter comes the spring.

To the Two

Hello dear
I miss your smile,
your laugh-
it's been awhile.

Time has passed,
we've been apart.
But you're still
nestled in my heart.

Your face comes
easiy to mind;
your heart is simple,
true, and kind.

Thanks for being
you my friend,
I'll like you to
forever's end!

Spirits Way

Welcome all but heed my words

Knowledge has its dangers.

Too much you'll be called the fool

Too little caught with strangers.

A noble cause this path may be

But frought it is with strife.

So hold on tight and grit your teeth

And follow learnings' life.

Dare not give in

No matter please

Despite it all

Rise from your knees.

With head held high

Hold that brass ring

For you can accomplish

Anything.

Calliope

The rolling waves sing sultry songs
and echo sweet compliance-
the phoenix hair, and lips to dare
resound with mock defiance.
Her eyes abound with mystery, infinity,
and such
Her muselike ways drive to a daze and
craving for a touch.
She's wise and true and loving too
but cares not to be bound.
She'll teach you, help you, hold you,
heal you,
Leave without a sound.
The whispering winds weave tales of honor,
and gallantry unbound
Of deeds at sea, in air,
above and below the ground.
The bards sing of her beauty, valor,
heart foresworn to love
To cherish those about her
like heaven up above.
With sword or heart
she'll do her part to champion
the good,
The poor,downtrodden,all the weak,
and those misunderstood.
The minstrels sing Calliope in mystic
words of song,
Of she who bests the devil to
make right of what is wrong.

Melancholia

Total stress
in my duress,
i scream in fury
bring on the jury.

Mental pain
upon my heart is stained.
Drowned in tears-
what do i fear?!
Not trying hard,
no sing the bard.

Weary I stand and
try to hold your hand.
I'm not sure
there is a cure...
but I love you
to my heart always true.

Faithfully Love

I wait for you
along the garden,
flowers whisper out
your name.

It's been so
long since
last i've seen you,
I remember
when you came.

Golden sun warmed
up your skin-
a gentle breeze
lifts up your hair.

The wheat was waving
back and forth,
the butterflys flew
without a care.

You held my hands and
kissed them slowly
My heart did flips
inside my chest.

I knew that you're
my one and only
I think you are
the very best.

So come my darling
don't you tarry
I await with
heart in hand,

For I cannot live
without you
in what's called
the promised land.

The Fisherman -2

Farewell my luv my heart is broken
Pieces of me surround it too.
The world is dark there is
no sunshine
Because the light would
come from you.

You sailed away on
mornings tide
And left me lonely
on the shore.
My aching heart knows
not the reason
why you did it
and what for.

It only knows that
tears are salty
falling quickly
down my face.
And hollow is my
my empty person
Pain residing
in its place.

I try but I can't
find an answer
Grief has left me
sad and gray.
adrift upon an
endless ocean
with no rescue
on its way.

Deep among my dreams
you'll wander
Still my arms
will reach for you
Absolutely waiting for
your arms to reach
and hold me too.

My Luve

A love as gentle as a tear
and larger than the sun
In a single lifetime
There can only be just one.

Flowing fields of green
and colors of the fall
Crispness of a snowflake
Springtime and it's thrall.

The seasons of my heart
surround my years with you
An everturning circle of my love
so blindly true.

I think of you each morning,
each day, and every night
More beautiful than the starry
skies
Is you within my site.

Fields of flowers
have no beauty
Cloudless skies are dark.
My head's a whirling maelstrom
Threatening if you should part.

You are the right to what is wrong,
you are the music to my song.
A melody, a march, a waltz that
dances through my brain
In cold or drought-you are the sun
In springtime you're the rain.

Your words are like a petal soft
Evoking such desire
Your embrace a major motion
That sets my soul on fire.

When first we met I knew at last
my other half was found
Raising my spirits in delight
my feet off of the ground.

How could I dare to think that such
a gift as you devine
Would hold the world together and
that you were only mine.

Endlessly together is my wish for you and me,
from all there is, to all that's naught,to all that eer will be.

Heartaches Call

Sorrow's grasp has squeezed my heart
in unrelenting measure,
along with pain it eats my soul
destroying any pleasure.
It convolutes my view of all
and decimates my being
irradicating common sense
im blind to any seeing........
of life or love i want so much-
the blissful feel of human touch.
The hope that brings another day
so shortly out of reach
a lesson of life's daily rage
a lesson meant to teach.
How did this happen,
I am so weak
how did this mangling
malaise sneak
into my life with so much drive?
How do i stop this menace?
How shall I gain what used to be
what will be my due penance?
Am i strong enough to change the path
and walk into the light or
be beseiged by sadness knocking
constantly at night?
I sit here and I wonder
as I write down every word.
Am i only dreaming or
is my whole life absurd?

Melody

Escape from simple tryst
would be
As flowing as a dulcet tone
that sang its heart to
only me
to find myself alone...

But deep within your
loving reach
encompassing the whole
of two
My heart can find you
anywhere
silently singing
i love you.

The Fisherman

The waves kiss the shore
with a subtle touch.
I remember your face;
do I miss it much?

I wonder what you look at,
I wonder what you see.
I wonder do you ever stop
and think of me.

The waves sing out a chorus
of lusty raucous notes.
I think of you and fishing,
What is your favorite boat?

I ramble like the ocean;
My heart is deep as well.
But what lies far below the shore-
Well.....noone else can tell.

Lady Angelus

I hide behind my walls
of steel
they stop the ones
who seek to feel
the why, the who, the where
and then I
start to feel all
over again.
Retreat I go
to bricks and mortar
hiding in my castle deep
Moat will stop the evil
warders
while the lady tries to sleep.
Lock the door
they shant break throuogh
milady they have
come for you.
Fight I will
before I come
this land is ours
I will not run.
With slippered foot
or shielded arm
my honour to this land
prevails.
While knights are
fighting at my side
the bards will live to
tell the tales.
Of valiance and hearts
foresworn
to live protect
and die as one
the lady with the
phoenix hair
gave all she had
becaused she cared.
