3-4 days of solid rain...

The first storm of the season crept up from Mexico Yucatan Peninsula into the Gulf of Mexico and is dragging itself across Florida, from Orlando downward.
With 40 mph wind gusts moving Northeast at 18 miles per hour we're into the 2nd day of non-stop rain that started Thursday night.
Usually storms come into Florida heading Northwest where the bulk of the rain is out in the ocean. This one is dumping rain all across the Caribbean.

This is a steady rain and the parking lot drainage is good.

I lost a car 2 years ago when in less than 4 hours more than a foot of rain soaked the area. This was more than the storm drains could take away and the main road across my community flooded. Some of the lower areas of the road had water up to my knees.

I lost a car from that flood as water soaked into the door gaskets and filled the floorboard. I tried to dry it with towels but it was too far gone. Insurance wrote off the car and I had to take a loss.

Should it happen again, we are instructed to park a block away on higher ground near the clubhouse.

The link is an active map from the National Weather Center and updates every few hours. By tomorrow, I expect the storm to have moved into the Atlantic Ocean and things will begin to dry out.

False Flag...

There are a few meanings/definitions for false flag.
One is a flag flown to disguise the nationality or affiliation of a vessel, vehicle, or base of operations. For example if a pirate ship flies the flag of one country and attacks the vessels of another country, there is a good chance that the country being attacked will retaliate and attack the innocent country who's flag was being flown.

90 years ago, the German parliament building was burned down due to arson. Immediately after, the Nazis passed a piece of legislation called "decree for the protection of state and people" giving them total police state control over the people.
The fires were blamed on Hitler's political rivals, however historians believe that is was actually the Nazi party who started the fire in a plot to control the masses through fear.

In 1939, Hitler needed a reason to attack Poland and staged a false flag by dressing German troops in Polish uniforms pretending to attack a German radio station near the border. He used concentration camp inmates who had been previously shot and dressed them in German uniforms, leaving them at the station to make it appear they were attacked by the Poles. This created the excuse for Germany to start WWII.

False flag operations can be done on air, land or on the sea and do not have to be military operations, but can be business dirty tricks or political scams.

John Pennycuick, a British engineer....

Tamil Nadu govt to install statue of British officer in UK
Tamil Nadu CM announced that a statue of Colonel John Pennycuick, a British engineer who built the Mullaperiyar dam, will be installed in his hometown in the UK.

The Tamil Nadu government will install a statue of Colonel John Pennycuick in the United Kingdom, said Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday.

MK Stalin announced that permission was obtained from the local authorities in Pennycuick's hometown, Camberly, to install Colonel John Pennycuick's statue.

Colonel John Pennycuick was a British engineer who built the Mullaperiyar dam in 1895 in Kerala's Idukki which provides water to Theni, Dindigul, Ramanathapuram, Sivagangai and Madurai districts. The dam is currently operated by the Tamil Nadu government.

Pennycuick is highly respected by the people of the five districts in Tamil Nadu and is even worshipped by many.

Many claimed that when the British government decided to abandon the project due to high cost, the Colonel spent money from his own pocket to complete the project.

In Theni district, Pennycuick's birthday -- which is on January 15 -- is celebrated along with Pongal....

No Mango Season...

I was in Miami yesterday and drove by my old house expecting to see dozens of mangoes growing on the huge 70+ year old tree in the back yard.
The tree was severely chopped back, no fruit. The neighbor has a smaller tree (from the same fruit of my old tree) and his tree was bare.
Driving around the neighborhood, I didn't see any mangoes to be in season.
That's too strange, but it appears to be the same for many of the places I normally see mangoes.

testing, testing...

Far right spreading lies on social media, more " good guys with guns"

"May 29, 2022, 5:40 AM EDT
By Katelyn Burns, MSNBC Opinion Columnist
It didn’t take long after an 18-year-old brutally murdered 19 schoolchildren and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, before the internet misinformation machine cranked into action. Starting on 4chan, a false rumor began to spread that the school shooter was a trans woman named Sam. Right-wing troll Candace Owens continued to push the false narrative long after it had been disproved. The online chatter even grew to the point where far-right Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona claimed the shooter was trans in a since-deleted tweet.

A teenage trans girl in El Paso was accosted by a group of men who taunted her with the internet rumor, insisting the Uvalde shooter was one of her “sisters.”

The woman targeted by the false accusation eventually had to post a photo of herself holding a sign with the date, which was after the shooter had died by police fire during the attack, to prove she was not the shooter. Later that evening, a teenage trans girl in El Paso was accosted by a group of men who taunted her with the internet rumor, insisting the Uvalde shooter was one of her “sisters". .........

As long as D.C. is infested with politicians and lobbyists that would kill an innocent child for a few bucks mass murder by by far right of children will continue. Far right kills kids for money!!!

Russia turns on Putin

Politicians demand ‘immediate withdrawal’ from Ukraine as 100 servicemen are fired for refusing to take part in the invasion

A veteran Russian legislator has issued an appeal to Vladimir Putin to stop military action, bring his troops home and end the war in Ukraine.

Communist deputy Leonid Vasyukevich, 69, blasted the use of Moscow’s servicemen in Ukraine, as a Russian court dismissed more than 100 national guardsmen in the first case of soldiers refusing to fight in Ukraine as politicians demanded the army return home.

Members of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, a separate military branch from the Russian army refused to carry out an assignment related to Moscow's 'special operation' in Ukraine.

A military court in Russia's southern republic of Kabardino-Balkaria found that the defendants 'arbitrarily refused to perform an official assignment' and turned down their appeal.

The hearing was held behind closed doors to avoid revealing 'military secrets,' according to the Moscow Times.

Digging up gun dirt...

Two stories about gun maker Daniel Defense popped into the news today.
Days after the pandemic fund opened, they received $3.1 million in government small business aid via the Paycheck Protection Program used to support it's 200 employees.

(I'm not sure how 200 employees qualifies as a small business, considering they are the largest privately owned firearms manufacturers in the country.)

The Twitter account of Daniel Defense reportedly had an advertisement photo of a young child holding a similar weapon used in the Uvalde mass shooting stating “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Interesting mindset... ya think?
