Is it possible to change the basic nature of feelings with repeated practice?
For example:
The nature of anger is to harm others. Can this temper of anger be changed?
Is hurting someone in anger a habit or a nature?

a good attitude, allow enough time to get to a destination, be patient, let the other.....

When you are able to control your tongue, it shows you have matured spiritually. Misuse of the tongue can lead to destruction, sometimes without even realizing it. Learn to let go of unwholesome chats and let only beneficial things come out of your mouth. If you are not able to guard your tongue you are going to be in trouble here and hereafter.


Your tongue can save you and lead you to heaven, it could also create enemies in life and lead you to hell. Therefore you should learn to control your tongue.

What is it with new years that I am sick everytime they come. I have left behind all the disappointments 2021 has brought me. And in such a strange and unwelcome way, they have their own way of sneaking up.

Now, Im wallowing all by myself, clogged nose, fever, sorethroat and headache. No food in the fridge, no one to ask to get them for me either.

So I get up, put my big girl pants on and made coffee. I still got some bread from a few days ago. Hopefully no molds in them. Hahahahaha At least I have that.

Exes coming back, but I have no energy to even flirt a little with any of them. But surely i have the energy to rant about my newest frustration for 2022 in my comfy flannel wrap and messy bun seated in front of smokin hot coffee and toasted bread.

At least I have the silence of the room all to myself. At least I have my sound mind and the hope for tomorrow to get the things I need. At least I still have me.

Welcome 2022!

Human cannot find logic in everything, so they have to take the support of belief. We should not be so logical that we always have to depend on our mind. To give some rest to the mind, the support of belief should also be taken. And don't become so blind in faith that even the common sense of our brain ends. Neither logic should dominate faith nor faith should dominate logic.
Keeping a balance between Belief and Logic, taking both together can bring happiness and peace in life.

Life is there to be lived..

Right, so. One can say this, if one knows how to live this life -
meaning, you are actually (fully) satisfied with your / this life and have received the tools / answers etc to know how to and you are content as such?

Here my view (key) on this:

We live to worship.

We are all like a bunch of flowers. And even if you have all of the same sorts - each individual flower's colour and shape and smell will be different.

A flower: here today, gone tomorrow. Who decides how long this flower is going to exist? smell? bloom? grow? wither?

What does a flower do? I mean, you can eat some of the species. Some rather not put your teeth in it. Of some plants you can make fragrance of it. Flowers usually are a pleasant sight - if they manage to get into full blossoms.

Life in itself is more than meets the eye. In fact, I'd say, the unseen world is more than we can fathom.
It is a proven fact that there are multiple dimensions, of which we barely touch our comprehensions in the 3rd. Let alone the other ones (who knows how many other dimensions there are)

There is an unknown (or. for some, a known) source who knows it all: The ruler of the dimensions, we call Him?

Would it not be logical to worship the One, who rules, above all?

If He is all knowing, all true, all loving. Would not He be the one who deserves our worship?
Even if we don't know everything. Because we are only human beings and will never be able to know everything.

Would I not think that He'd be the savest source for me to offer Him my worship?

Where do I put my money? Would I not be careful to whom I give my money? I mean, I wouldn't flush 100$ down the drain?

Worship is the essence of our being. In worship, things start happening, start taking place.
moments move on.

In worship, we
encourage
uplift
build better
exchange help to each other (giving without expecting something in return)

We give
we elevate
acknowledge that this ruler, G'd is a higher entity than ourselves.

So what good will come from it, if we
elevate
praise
worship
a human being, who has the same abilities (gaining limited knowledge)
and outcome (physical death)
as ourselves?

When I worship, it takes the importance of of me, and I elevate that which I worship into a higher place than myself.

Which means I lower myself automatically in front of the other identity.

But, here's the thought: why bow down to another human being, who is, like me, just the same?
Not more, or less?

If the ruler of all, the overseer of the dimensions, does it not make sense that I refuse to put anything or anyone above Him?
- not another human being
- not myself
- not the evil one (in all it's forms and forces like idolatry, witchcraft, money etc)

There is:
participate - consume - being entertained
vs
creating something yourself - anticipate - be inspiring
every one of us can switch from one to the other - that's why people 'search'?

Balance. Maybe we searchers arrive, once we master this?

The whole Universe we live in rests on rules. Still.
If I drop something, it falls to the ground. Unless I fly to the moon. It is good to honour those rules.

As long as people have anger, jealousy, hatred, fear, greed, ego, etc., peace is not possible. Neither will these evil feelings ever end from human beings nor will there ever be peace in the world.

All good and bad feelings are stored in human beings in seed form. In favorable environment, these seeds germinate and take the form of trees. People say that which seed should germinate inside us and take the form of a tree, it is in our hands. I don't know how much of it is in our hands?

How does one define this "freedom of speech"

'Freedom of speech is the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, by any means. Does this then give others the right to cause insult and hurt to others with our free speech.

As decent human beings we never have to accept what others say without question and are entitled to cast an opinion ,yet many times we are castigated for daring to challenge someone .There is much controversy and hate in our World today whether it be political ,religious,colour,creed or even jealousy, which sadly continues to divide and separate us from others.

You don’t have to accept or even approve of all of the other person’s attitudes or behaviours .The most important skill in communication is the ability to listen to others. Rather than doing all the talking, take the time to stop and hear what others have to say. Refrain from interrupting or talking over other people. Sadly we forget the "rules of engagement" for want of better words as can be seen frequently on the Forums and blogs.

Is conversation good for the soul or can it be soul destroying?

A man has been mauled to death by a lion at a zoo after he climbed over a 7.6m fence to take a selfie with the beast.

Prahlad Gujjar from Rajasthan, India, entered the non-public enclosure that housed the lion at Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park by climbing over the fence.

Desperate for a selfie, the 38-year-old ignored a zookeeper’s warning to step away from the lion and continued to get closer to the large cat.

Before the zookeeper could intervene, Dongalpur the lion mauled the man to death.
