I've been listening to members complaining about the topics posted recently on the forums & I have to say, it's difficult to reply to most, because there's rarely a question asked.. It seems to me that most people are too involved in their own self importance to even ask , or reply with a question posed to them.. Most people who complain are just as guilty & if the forums are to improve, we should ignore them posts , rather than make a silly remark.. Then & only then , will the people who have mysteriously disappeared , return.

Have you ever considered the possibility that some people here are not full time. Therefore, by the time they log in already there are lots of posts/pages in a thread that they might not have seen any post addressed to them?

Yes, it would be a good feature if you could check any posts directed at you when you log in

I'd like to see a txt message or email or voice message any time something was posted to me or posted to one of my threads in the CS forums. Hahaha not really ....

It's a possibility but there are those that make so many irrelevant posts, they would be hard pushed to keep a track , even if they were "full time"

Hi Molly what I do is going to my latest posts (under my picture in any thread) and from there click to the thread to find any comment I might be interested at.

. We all know the ones that are not worth anything here, the prolific OP that is half brained and makes 3, 4 or 5 a day as has happened today, and as l posted the other day we all just need to ignore them but then the 'mid brained' and 'rude' posters always get stuck in and the thread goes sideways. What l thought would be good if its like a poll there would be say, 10 'points' and if 10 different people did not like it then they just pressed a button, when all 10 were used the thread disappeared, having only one chance each to press so any 10 people could have that thread removed automatically.

Imagine how quick your E-Mail account would be suspended with that amount of Traffic! Their Spam-Detector would get a Crying Fit!

remember the Thumbs-Up/Down-Fiasco from a few years back, and the way it was abused? Same would happen again! If the Threads aren't worth commenting on,let them die, report them, then there is still the MOD-Feature of the OP,to keep order in their Thread!

The problem with that is there may be an interesting topic that many find offence & it may be removed before , or as it got interesting.. I think ignoring these juvenile posts , is protest enough & by answering them, you're just getting sucked into their adolescent agenda for attention seeking.
