SWEET DREAMS

Rest my darling, close your eyes,
Trust to the darkness, and within it, the light,
There you will find all truth and no lies,
And many a thing to bring delight.
From that place, where a dreamweaver might dwell,
As high…As high as the roof of the sky,
Far above the Ocean’s deep swell,
Where only the Phoenix and Dragons might fly.
Somewhere between this world and that,
Between half awake and half asleep,
On a dragon’s back he’s sat,
Catching your dreams, safe to keep.
Saving them for when you get older,
For when you might have children of your own,
For when this world seems less friendly and colder,
dreamweaver will return, you'll not be alone.......

don’t leave your baggage at the door…

Hi… Come on in…is that heavy. Let me help you with that…it appears you’ve collected quite a few things over the years…don’t be shy…open it up and let’s see what we find. Ah, a pair of worn shoes…just needs resoling…not a problem, I know the best shoe doctor in town. What else you got there....a couple of shirts....let’s hang them in the closet, plenty of extra hangers see right here next to mine….a toothbrush and toothpaste…hey, that’s the same brand I use…up there on the shelf…what’s next. Some dirty socks and pants…I’m just starting a load in the wash…they’ll be clean in a flash. Make yourself at home…no rush …we can unpack the rest later. For you are welcome here… my only request to you is..... don’t leave your baggage at the door…

A Friend in Need

Knowing God is Nearby
He gives You the Strength
When You "Look Up High"
For He Has Powers, We Cant Deny!

You need Love and Affection
"Empty Days"
with "NO" Connection
God will Teach you, The way of Give! (Love

It Comes from deep
within the Soul
and then we Reep
that what we Sow!

I will Help you, what I can
A Trusted one, to be a Friend
If You take the time, To find the "Right One"
You Will find Love, Believe Me Hun!

We are all connected

You may have heard it said before
that you are who you believe
and your want should not exist
that what you think should be, will be
and you create your own reality with your thoughts
I can advise you now
that your thoughts affect everything around you
everyone and every object, for all are in fact one
that you are consciousness
consciousness is the sum of these same thoughts
and all consciousness is the sum of everyone
that separation is just an illusion
and once you can perceive this nothing will ever be the same.

Just a thought

A poets pen is their brush,
Words are their colours,
and
An empty page, their canvas...

THE ORACLE of ASGARD

I have seen the face,
The face, that looks as old as the Great Oak,
And eyes, youthful, as wise as the world,
Steady, in watery sockets float.
Ruddy lips, a chalk white complection stained,
Creases where tears,
Tears of thousands of years, have drained.
Ears, that hear the heartbeat of the earth, as she breaths,
Ancient clay smoking pipe clenched between his teeth.
A huge shock of flowing white hair, his crown,
Atop a world weary and worried frown.
As he stares into the flames,
Watches, see’s the past history of our foolish games,
The Oracle of Asgard,
The keystone, or card, to this rickety house,
Who searches our souls and dreams as stealthy as a mouse,
Leaves no footprint nor sound,
No echo of footsteps in the silence pound,
No trace,
But for a momentary, ghostly, smoky, apparition of his face,
Aye lad, once seen never forgot,
Be ye grateful that three score years and ten is your lot,
That you don’t carry the weight of the world upon your shoulders,
Nor watch in the flames as mankind in his folly smoulders,
Or feel the pain,
Of the failure of war, again and again,
Looking forward to the day when he too can pass,
The day when man is at peace, with the world and himself…..
At last!

I love my Poet Friends

Who was I before I
got here..just a mumble
jumble of words-
I couldn't create a rhyme
fit to feed the lil' birds
Oh sure, Roses are red and
violets are blue
So how was I to come up
with anything new?
I thought it had all
been said-it had all
been written
But by the poetry bug
I was surely bitten-
There's Andrew and Kickit
and Niah for sure
And Jeddah, and Silentstorm
who opened the door-
Yes there is Pilgrim and
Billiegirl who think my
words are fine
It's because of these friends
I can snatch up a rhyme
Oh Fellsman so wise and Dabomb
so smart
From their talent I was inspired
to make this start-
Beautifulyou and Cat oh I
can barely say it
And Mac and Swade knows I'll
never fake it-
Oh these poet friends have
touched my heart
And a hundred others have
made their mark
Oh Hank and Witchy you've
made me blush
And Christian so true
with words so just
Some are here, many are
gone
But their rhymes are solid
their words are song
Oh, I can ony say that I
tried to dig down deep
I tried to write the words
that would soar and never
sleep
But mabey one day..perhaps
far in time
A soul will stumble accross
this poets rhyme..
They'll want to know who
inspired me so
My Poet Friends..to you
they'll go..

A worthy inspiration..

Sadder than the eyes of sorrow,
are they who cannot weep-
More tearful than a burning shame,
is the love we never seek-

Silver apples will not melt their
heart, nor a feast fit for a king-
Oh, what joy has passed us by when
we have no song to sing-

What keeps a heart alive in this dark
world of desperation-
Die once, die twice, without a worthy
inspiration~

Someone Else

Im looking for a resolution and searching for a better life
Im hoping that these broken wings will let me to fly
I step to the left and take in a deep breath
One more chance I will turn into one more regret
While everything that's on my right keeps telling me to fight
Im knocked down by the third round and I'm seeing blinking lights
Its seems this would be my luck I feel like giving up
I keep asking for Your help but God I know You've had enough
Its burning on my mind its bleeding through my eyes
A little more salt in the wound maybe will help me realize
And then I think about Mary and all that she has lost
Suddenly all of my problems started getting small
Maybe that is the answer maybe I'm not enough
Stop thinking of myself and give Someone else a hug
