To all women in the world

Woe not on us
Oh mankind of greatness
May all worship and be adored
Amongst the nature's best
Non compares to your sacredness

Winners we are all
On this journey of short life
Make it joyful in stride
Akin to moon and stars
Nothing dims your bright light

Women here and everywhere
On all walks of life, all over
May this day given to us
A testament that we're loved
Not only today but forever

Happy International Women' s Day

About this poem:
I didn't even know there's a day given to us for International recognition as special day.

So I just wrote this for all of us women

Acrostic on all three stanzas

Thanks to all who'll celebrate with us.

Didn't know but my friend Shay wrote it on the blog

Thanks again

NOW!!!

Let’s listen to the silence – it’s important,
We lose so often great and special moments.
Just look at sky – it’s full of dreams and light,
And our lives – significant and bright.

Keep quiet and listen to new baby born,
And look at growing smiling happy corn,
And flying bird with little pretty wings,
And blowing wind and running river rings.

Its time to live – not time for tears, sorrows,
Its time to feel – right now and not tomorrow.
There is no past or future, there is present,
And we r all not lonely but – Together!!!

The Beggar…

Time is a blur…,
I’m driving home in rural Africa, nursing a very, very broken heart,
A Greek goddess called Diana is responsible,
I stop at a petrol station,
Suddenly, I became aware of a presence next to me,
I look up, a young African man, with both his hands out, in the traditional African manner, begging,
He’s dishevelled, dirty, poorly dressed,
He’s mumbling to himself incoherently,
Schizophrenic, borderline?
The sight of his plaintive condition, touches me,
Through my numbness, I feel the pain of his existence,
Yet, the sight is so common in this part of the world, I’m about to turn him away when I chance to look into his eyes,
What I see stuns me,
A childlike simplicity and yet, a powerful, burning intensity and on his face, a radiant smile,
The pain of it is too enormous for me to bear,
Through the fog, I wonder if I will ever, in this lifetime, have eyes as soft and beautiful as his,
or if my smile will ever speak with such resignation and humility as his,
A smile that has suffered a million set-backs and humiliations,
I look him in the eyes and say, "Hello, how are you?”
He looks right back at me and says, in a cosmic voice, that I know was not spoken by the young man, "I’m O.K."
In the resonance of that one phrase, was a spiritual message for me, that seemed as if it had forcefully been driven through the locus of all eternity, just for me,
A message that stated:-
“Though things look terribly unfair and painful at times, in the eternity of our evolution everything is fine, even though it is impossible for us mortals to comprehend why that is so.”
Right there and then, I realized I was talking with an angel who had come in the young man’s body to comfort me,
and, right there and then, I loved that young man,
I gave him all the money I had in my pocket at the time,
I was distraught, I felt a great sense of loss, that I could not do more,
I know my few hundred bucks probably did very little for that young man, but it helped me enormously,
It helped me to grieve for the loss of Diana, and for the innocence I lost several decades ago.

Long Gone Days

Embedded image from another site

Frozen solid but as the sun still shines
Melting away my existence with layers in time
Growing from cold until warmth bleeds sober
Silent screams pass away as I get older
A darkened heart swallowed by a wonderful glow
As my individual colors become like a rainbow
My will it still breaks me even as I get stronger
A pale masked rider delights in the weight of armor
Affixed upon summer lights reflecting from a faceless crown
A sea of sorrow is where I swim to until I tire and drown
Follwing along the horizons edge, but my eyes fall away
Reaching for the surface I struggle from the ripples of my own wake

These tears are of my own surrender
The light is my hands lifting You up in faith
As I pray to my Defender
The One who has counted all of my days
This Fear is from my own confessions
In my weakness You have given me stregnth
In Your love I have found protection
In Your mercy I have found grace
But I often get so lost God
To those long gone days

A Parallel Universe

(A Collaborative Poem with Christian Candykid)
Embedded image from another site

A tapestry of telepathy, he knows that he's lost...
She waits for his whispers, he suffers the cost...
In parallel planes there are mirrors that divide...
And mirrors that decide to unite...

A ripple distorted the reflections of whispering echoes...
Igniting hope between two worlds never touching...
One reaching, the other one fleeting...
As liquid diamonds drip from her eyes...

Clairvoyant submission beyond natural-born vision...
Arms reaching searching for transparent collisions...
Precision decisions reflect crystal clear visions...
Apparitions appear before starlit renditions...

Blinded by the sun's bright and blinding conditions...
They are each spellbound by photo-framed solar rays...
With invisible strands, he crushes stars in his hands...
But unity in reality is light years away...

And so he stands in the center of the sun...
Mirrors of lost time reveal she is the one...
After thousands of years, searching thousands of mirrors...
They've found each other in tears....

About this poem:
This is an enjoyable collaboration with Christian Candykid on a fantasy theme. Beautifully blending a logical/pragmatic mind with an imaginative/creative mind. He is very wonderful to work with.

LIFES TIME

The past,
the future,
the here and now.

We travel from one
to another in
a blink of an eye.

Maybe through sorrows,
past lovers,
or even horrors.

We glance at the future
with longing
in the eyes.

We can rest assured
the future awaits
to start up anew.

A special Candykid tribute

53 times his poetry magic works,
In the hands of time two stars fallen,
He is living in eternal darkness,
Suspended around the dark matter.

He's incomplete and can't compete,
A ghostwriter trapped inside his prison,
His words filled with angst and passion,
Blind sided in order to dim lights.

Chasing immortality throughout his life,
Suffering beyond the garden of insanity,
His essence caught by a supernatural being,
From a ghostly aura of an invisible thing.

It transform into a sparkling black marble,
And again into his supreme Queen,
His adoration is simply indescribable,
Witnessed by the hundreds and millions .

And in the halls of the black nights,
His spirit weaken and soul stricken,
Possession from the scent of Fear,
Presence denied in the space of time.

But nothing compares from the history of earth,
Can stop the power of his neverending love,
Alas nothing is quite as it seems,
From the shadows dancing from within.

In the midst of the gigantic Candy Horse constellation,
God is not invisible because I see him clearly in candy's Christian face!

Happy New Year !

It’s New Years Eve

A time to reminisce, remember absent family and friends
Time to celebrate the present,to contemplate the day’s ahead
Many make new resolutions to maybe get fit, create a business, learn a new skill, try something new or clear out the shed.
Take a step forward in order to bring about the wonderful life we may seek
Some may find love, propose, make promises they mean to keep.

Whatever your position, your passion or your need
And no matter how impossible it may now seem
I hope and pray that the coming year..2019
will bless you with your dream !

Elo Challenge

Seeking a kindred spirit
To complete my mind and soul
My compressed thoughts now embody

Bubbling brook with whirlpools
Containing white capsules of my spirit
May I embrace God's beauty

From brook, stream, river and ocean core
and let us drift off to celestial shores

REFLECTIONS

Reflection of a full moon on a soft velvet sky,
Reflection of a lover standing nearby,
In free fall the mirror strikes the ground,
Reflections shattered, though there is no sound,
As surface tension overloads,
Silently…..The teardrop….Explodes!
