ANGEL CAFE

Embedded image from another site

RIP dod: 9/17/2017

God has a new Angel in Heaven today
Leaving his poetry friends astray
Lost without our Castle leader Café
The knights are sad and the maidens afraid

Café Jim brightened all our days with fun
He also strengthened our Spirits with love
He never judged but treated everyone equally
Giving his friendship and his love freely

Greatly missed in this corner of the world
You were one of God’s rare black pearls
Heaven has gained a wonderful Knight
The Castles up there will surely come alive

To all our loved ones in Heaven watch out above
Café Jim is there now – surround him with love
If you wonder how you might find him up there
Look for an Angel with a Halo slightly bent over his ear

Love - Godprincess and all your friends at CS Poetry Corner

Do Not Weep

Do not weep when I have gone
Whistle that tune or sing that song
Hum that melody that we used to play
Look to the clouds on a clear summer’s day

And think of me as you always have done
Remember that I shall forever be my mother’s son
As you pass the old oak that bears our mark
Whistle that tune we first heard from the lark

Gently let the grass hold you within its sway
As the breeze hums that melody we used to play
Where the crickets chime up in a glorious chorus
And you absorb the beauty of the flowering floras

Drift down to the stream where we sat and dreamt
And paddled like children thinking how this was meant
Remember how instantly we both broke out in song
And days were so lazy and nights were not as long

Think of me often as the tears glisten your face
Whistle that tune as you sit at our secret place
And as the tears overcome you in an emotional tide
Look up to the sky and see the swallow glide

And dry those tears you must not weep for me
Remember fondly those days in the old oak tree
And live your life as you know I want you too
Forever I will always be thinking of you

FORGIVE ME, SISTER!

Oh Sister, since our parting’s almost near
Please lend your ear, time has come.
We may not meet again, it’s what I fear,
So you decreed in bitter anguish, so unwise.
Not knowing it you’ve cut the ties of Love
That generations past have built in tireless strife.
So for the good I’ve ever done in life
I ask for your forgiveness, be so kind!

Oh Sister, haven’t seen and heard you much
Through all these years it has been so hard.
You stayed aloof, so hot, in hateful pride,
My son’s a grown up man you wouldn’t recognize.
You’ve never tried to bridge the gap you dug,
And left me gaping, wandering in the dark.
So for the good I’ve ever done in life
I ask for your forgiveness, be so kind!

You’ve never even once looked our way
Since choice I’ve made for only Goodness’ sake.
It’s all I’ll boast about what I've done if asked
In your good favor, on your own behalf.
It’s all on what I’ll take my pride, it's credit won,
Enough to face my God when I’m no more, I die.
So for the good I’ve ever done in life
I ask for your forgiveness, be so kind!

Rest In Peace LEE KUAN YEW (1923 - 2015)

This morning at 3.18am our beloved Founding Father Singapore 1st Prime minister died peacefully.

Embedded image from another site

He was the best role model ...He was called Harry in England Cambridge .very astounding student and top of his law faculty.
He was a very strict father and a very devoted faithful husband.

He married his sweetheart who also was studying law with him.He was an easy going and very concern towards his common people.
He set the golden standard for politicians around the world.

He sacrifice his whole life for Singapore..its Independence. .its early government years with no resources. .basically from scratch.
Thank you and I'm emotionally at a lost..so i cant compose anything worthy now. But I want to share my dedication and deepest respect of a Father of my country as a son of this country.
National mourning will last 7 days starting today.

Cloud Castle

Embedded image from another site

In her final moments
her silent face lies before me
mother's eyes so serene
like a lake undisturbed
by turbulent winds
perhaps inside she was smiling
perhaps not
perhaps lost in a world
of dreamy thoughts..

Her eyes cast a final gaze
as she faded into the kingdom
of brilliant white light
time seemed to have slowed
as she drifted away
surrounded by sobbing...

I had always known
the final moments
would be painful for me
but to my great surprise
it was peaceful for mother
as my tears flow wide
it was where I was
by my mother's side
as she joined
God's cloud castle in the sky...

A September Day Tribute

It’s happening again this September
The echo of the cries of 3,000 souls
So very difficult in mind’s eye to remember
The emotional drain each year takes a toll

The sights and sounds of buildings falling
Trying to fly like birds on the wind
Tortures the souls of those remaining
Wishing the memories would be dimmed

The definition of 911 forever changed
Heroes and murderers were born that day
Each in their own way coming to fame
Both facing burning Hell come what may

The murderers are still there to this day
Leaving others with tortuous memories
The Heroes were able to fly away
Facing Hell they left legendary stories

Stories revisited each and every year
For some these stories are of brave men and women
Others the memories still recreate the fear
As each of these visions is summoned

For me I think of 3,000 new stars in the sky
Each one winking at me from above
As I look at them way up high
I send each and every one of them my love

They say Time is a great healer

They say time is a great healer
But nothing can heal the pain
In your heart
When it's ripping apart

As each new morning
Awakens from the darkness of night
into another
pain filled day without her

You miss her
Sweet smile
And beautiful face

You miss her special soul
The void she left
No one
can ever
fill

How can you go on
You may wonder

But you will survive
You will get through it

You will remember her
With love
Each day
once a battle
And the memories will become
fonder
And bittersweet

in time
the pain will slowly
Ease

As life
Silently goes
on

Your memories will always remain

they say time is a great healer

humanity, we're losing it

humanity where are we?
in full gear, fully armed
we are on the war path
and directly heading to be damned
Paris, a city of beauty and light
accosted by the atrocities
of what is wrong and unjust

have we gone berserk
have we lost our minds?
have we embraced the dark
and forget there is light?
oh what an excuse, imperialist
here and there:
making the rich live in decadence
while the poor and wretched live lower than dirt?

you have forgotten
this day has been prophesied
it has been written and destined
alas, the eighty percent in jubilation
thinking it is their redemption
perhaps, it is..

but oh no, this is the mark
the progression of the "haves"
at the expense of the have "nots"
sure, laugh at me, I face your contempt
it is my fault for not standing up
as you remain silent to my pleas

the time has come
let us face and dance
your God and my God,
is one and the same

but my right to live,
my freedom,
doesn't make any difference
we're both born naked
and back to dust no more no less
one and the same..rotten
buried in the same dirt.

Broken pieces

Long ago
I Fell In love with you
Never did I think
You would leave me
My heart is bruised and broken
Everyone says get over you
And Move on
I've tried
these tired feet don't want to walk the street
My hands hurt from praying
My hearts broken
My mind has never been the same
I've tried to recreate our love
It will never be
You're gone forever
God please help me
pick up these broken pieces
And Put my life back together

MY SOUL'S SORROW

MY SOUL

My soul is weighed down in sorrow
For my loved one is not here for tomorrow
The days and nights blend together
In darkness the weight of a ton of feathers

Oh my soul cries a river of tears
And my heart quivers with fear
Of all the tomorrows to be alone
Facing the future and the unknown

O’ Lord please help me understand I pray
As to why my loved one was taken away
My soul wants to find peace from my sorrow
So that I may be able to face tomorrow

Please give me the strength to carry on
The courage to do what needs to be done
Please help me to accept your will
To know your Holy Spirit and to be filled

Open my eyes so that I might see
And feel your unconditional love for me
And that I might know when my journey is done
I will forever be in your arms and of Jesus - your Son
