If I liked someone and agreed to meet up with them, I would not meet them a 2nd time once I realised they had lied to me.

I can understand why someone might have been 49 for the last 5 years(if they can get away with it).
Lying about your age is on a par with say dying your grey hairs. It's not as deceptive as lying about your height or body type.

I didnt notice any age difference, it was only when they owned up to being older did I know. In one case it was actually a relief as the woman turned out to be three months younger than me rather than several years.

I've talked to one bloke who turned out to be a bit younger than he said he was. Something about fitting into a different age band. I was quite taken aback.
I lied (slightly) about my age when I first came on - wasn't intending to meet anyone. A few little confessions necessary when a meet was inevitable!
