The internet is just a tool like any other tool is has limited uses. It does allow for the opportunity to reach out and meet people from the comfort of your home.
but sometimes I think trying to meet someone is like trying to find a job, sending out the resumes or filling out applications, talking to employers, asking friends, finally getting an interview, then another, then filling out more applications.... doubting your self-worth, more applications, more interviews..... and then voila you get three job offers all at once, and must choose....
ok - remind me not to allow you into any group determining labor or work policies
it is really not about sympathy but empathy. There are many things to consider when making a living - duty, obligations, responsibilities, opportunities and I could go not. Happiness for oneself is not a motivating factor in working for a living. The world does not care if you are happy at your job.
In science I have read that the moon controls the tides and large bodies of water.
I read that clams and some other crustaceans that are put into bodies of water away from their native spot, open and close to the tides of the original tides although miles away.
So if we humans are something like 98% water, why would we not be affected by the moon. and if we are affected by the moon, why not other planets in our solar system?
the question is - are humans smart enough to make theories that explain these influences on us mass based on our date, time and place of birth?
You make it sound like it was one person's decision... there is a whole process and a whole lot of voices involved in a variety of different states with both the legalization of some drugs and the banning of electronic cigarettes.
Everyone forgets that the tobacco companies were taken on by the government for putting in more addicting qualities into the cigarettes and the states lost the fight against the evil corporations.
Prohibition did not work for alcohol it doesn't work on the war on drugs.
and really, since when is anything that humans do, logical?
You and 2 girls have a point and I think that if you are unhappy in your job then look for another. However, the statistics suggest that most of the workers are unhappy with their job - and we LOVE to complain about our work - but we still do it.
there are some really crappy jobs out there too - that have to get done - crops don't harvest themselves, fast food joints have the drive through windows operating sometimes 24 /7. Bank tellers, sales clerks, truck drivers, receptionists, etc, etc. these are entry level, poorly paid jobs.
She might have been very tired or immune to his behavior having a autistic child for 10 years is a lot of time to take care of someone who needs professional help...
Does color or ethnicity play an important role in human mating habits. Yes, we choose those that are similar to ourselves (in attitude, culture, shared values) and who we have an opportunity to meet and interact with.
Is it good to look for someone who will make you happy in life. Yes, although happiness comes from within.
just a little visit, I'm not getting any reports from the NSA anymore. I'm just going to have to find out what is happening in other countries the old fashion way.
