To tie into this point you are making - I am a native English speaker - sort of - parents are Scottish and English, with American thrown in then grew up in Europe and Canada. I was the one that had to speak for the family while living in Germany. And of course in Canada everyone is required to know both French and English. Now here in Florida, it is mainly Spanish, Creole and English American
I do have a lot of understanding for people here in the forums trying to communicate when they have not grasped all the fundamental rules of the English language. Also we have a whole bunch of new things that come from modern technology like lol, tweet, hashtag, lmao, etc, etc, etc.
It is about time to have the Debate about America's various "little" fixes about how we bring in people into our great nation.
This is only the long consequences of Washington Congress refusing to address through policy a mixed up policy and approach.
We have visitors, tourists, visa members, lottery winners, sponsored folk, related folk, peeps who serve in the military and are granted a stay, we take in refugees from specialized countries at various times..... and
we have undocumented workers, and peeps that flew in and over stayed their visa -
We have particular states that face more of the numbers than others.... and still there is no "one size fits all" immigration policy.
I say talk on Washington congress - Talk on, and on, and on ..... and still Congress has not gotten anything done, except shut down my government for 16 days in October 2013.
Among prominent alumni are former President and Supreme Court Justice William Howard Taft (a founder's son); former Presidents George H. W. Bush and his son, George W. Bush; Supreme Court Justices Morrison R. Waite and Potter Stewart; James Jesus Angleton, "mother of the Central Intelligence Agency"; Henry Stimson, U.S. Secretary of War (1940-1945); U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert A. Lovett, who directed the Korean War; and Henry Luce, founder and publisher of Time, Life, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated magazines.[citation needed]
John Kerry, U.S. Secretary of State and former U.S. Senator; Stephen A. Schwarzman, founder of Blackstone Group; Austan Goolsbee, Chairman of Barack Obama's Council of Economic Advisers; Harold Stanley, co-founder of Morgan Stanley; and Frederick W. Smith, founder of FedEx, are all reported to be members.
Of course it is all speculation because it is a SECRET society and membership is a SECRET
So what if the last president Bush, was a member? Skull and Bones is an undergraduate senior secret society at Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. It is the oldest senior class landed society at Yale. The society's alumni organization, the Russell Trust Association, owns the society's real estate and oversees the organization. The society is known informally as "Bones", and members are known as "Bonesmen".
Also if a member of the mafia when to Yale it is possible that they too could apply to become a member of this secret society. I doubt it, but anything is possible.
Best of luck with your theory. Does not match any facts that I know. and what is a KC mob? and why would we be a third world country?
You have been watching just way too much television, and haven't gotten a real look at your own local community or our country.
Lots of attorneys represent bad guys - that is what lawyers do. Corruption is a serious issue and we, in the past and currently fight it - but I just don't follow your logic.
I don't support this theory Epicure, because the USA or America does not use the petrol. Now they are like every other nation concerned about the stability in the region to ensure that the petrol prices remain secure. But global politics go hand in hand with global trading and business. And we have a lot of very powerful multinational global corporations that want a stable place transact business.
Of course, some of the "businesses" are in guns and military might, so they are in the business or political instability.
To me it is all about money or resources and power.
But the biggest take away I see now is - USA, America is stepping out of Iraq - it was not the best thing to go into there to begin with, however, we cannot change the past, we can only learn from it.
Lesson Learned: Let countries solve their own problems - if we half to help based on an invitation by that country - is to create or build or medicine for them - this supporting with guns and military might is STUPID! STUPID STUPID
ok lesson learned. Now let's take this lesson back to USA, America and get the guns out of the hands of our terrorists at home, and reduce them back down to the criminals that they are.
Sounds like a whirlwind vacation - just enough time to get a taste and want to return. I liked San Francisco (fisherman's wharf) and Las Vegas is an experience, with the Grand Canyon close by. Yosemite is a large national park - can take days and weeks of hiking the trails.
I was at Niagara myself when I was a teen, but on the Canadian side.
For all the complaints and odd views about how bad it is in America. It is a beautiful country full of nice folk. I know down here in Miami, we love tourists and work very hard to ensure that they have a safe and fun vacation.
Yellowstone national park is different than Yosemite and very far apart.
My plan is to find a nice community in one area and spend the summer and fall, however much time they allow visitors to day. Then of course winters back in Florida.
I have not been to Aberdeen yet, or north eastern Scottish coast.
It has taken me a while to figure out how to post photos, videos
I have a skype account, I have and use fb, whatsup and all the other technological communication advances of our modern society to chat with family and friends.
However, I still have only skyped once and I have not been able to use it with confidence yet. Also because of the time zones....
Good for you! You are going to have a wonderful time - just realize it is a big, big, big country and give yourself time to get from one thing to another.
Grand canyon and Yellowstone require at least several days each to just get a general main areas,
and they are so, so, so far away from Niagara Falls -

This isn't my rottie as a puppy but similar looking. I love dogs, cats and horses.
Of course I only have one outdoor cat right now - like others have said, long hours away from home is not good for the pet. First thing I will do is get another big dog when I retire. I like the bull mastiff breed and of course the rottweiller.
What kind of bird? I am trying to imagine what that looks like, with the bird flying next to you and the dog. Does it occasionally land on your shoulder ... well the bird not the dog.
RE: What conditions, someone has to create,in order to feel ""Totally and Blissfully Happy""???
The whole premise to the creation of the United States of America - life, liberty and the pursuit of happinesswhich suggests that there is not forever happy just chasing after it all the time.
now I am off to find the ultimate happy thread later Chris! good thread.
