Sounds pretty crappy. Thermal inversion layer I think, it's tricky timing it with the weather. Mosaic burning makes more sense to me, but much more complicated and takes more resources.

The fact is, Ari did a few years in jail for the armed robbery where Nikko's dad died. Deano was there for unrelated matters so that's how they knew each other already. In real life, we deport that kind of lowlife back where they came from, so I'm a little disappointed the script writers don't reinforce the message to deter further crimes by kiwis coming here.
But yeah, no real surprise about Justin really. Remember his brother Brodie the crackhead who did the dirty on Ziggy with the ranga waitress? I just don't understand why these people don't learn from what's happened before.
Nah, I suspect Mac will sell up and leave. Sure, she's losing the plot but I think she's smarter than that. Maybe with Ari, that's a given at some stage, Unless Mia and him slink back to NZ to get back into the drugs and crime which let's face it is pretty much all that lot are good for. Rider and Chloe will buy Salt. Justin the junky will carry on and cause all sorts of problems like usual, Leah will stand by the jerk as usual, even though she could do much better.
I thought it was pretty cool how Ziggy lost 25kg for the surf comp, then put it back on for the trophy award.
But on a more serious note, out of Ziggy, Tanne, Deano, and Amber... Every hetero combination of rooting has happened thus far. So the only remaining question is will the Amber/Ziggy root happen before the Deano/Tanne root?
