Galway
I watched a 2010 produced movie last night that was screened on TV called 'Jack Taylor' staring Iain Glen.I found that it portrayed Galway as a very sad and dissolute place, I know it's just a movie but it does absolutely nothing to promote the city in any kind of favourable view. It goes on to describe Galway as being the a** end of Europe, the place where people go to escape reality to live their lives as drunken hobos, rougues, con-artists, violence or a place to commit suicide.
I believe there were also several TV series made, hope it improved its view towards Galway.
