Stranger Things: Season 1 - a review!
I never really got the hype about Stranger Things, so I decided not to take part in viewing the show.Now, however, I have decided to give it a chance, to see what everyone is raving on about. So, was it worth it?
The first season is about a young boy, who disappears. It's then up to his mother, a police chief, and his friends to confront terrifying forces in order to get him back.
Season 1 has a number of different subplots, that all merge at the end, and it's a pretty well-crafted series. It's VERY slow, but the first season is all about character building. The season has it all: Horror, suspense, action, humor and emotion. It's an extremely impressive first season, so I will definitely begin season 2 right away.
Let's hope this is more fast-paced, because if I have to see ONE more interrogation, so help me... That is the only reason why this first season gets an 8/10. Not bad but not perfect!
