Sad but a bit uplifting

@Jac, thanks for an ultra rare appearance. Iam not in a position to have a pet either. I just content myself going to the pet section of the home center I frequent. And in times like these when I have plenty of time to surf the net and find something interesting to share. Sorry for ringing that emotional string in you.hug heart wings teddybear bouquet
@Jim, this time the link is working. so sorry for the last time. And yes how can a human being be vicious enough to do such a thing! I'm overwhelmed by the dog's will to live, the wonders of medicine and faith in humanity. Thanks for showing up.hug heart wings teddybear bouquet
I usually content myself with fussing over other people's dogs, but this 6 paws apart social distancing rule has left me deprived of canine cuddles.

I didn't know I was making a rare appearance - I thought you were. laugh

Good to see you and I hope you're keeping safe and well. bouquet
That made me cry for real..
@Jac, I just thought being absent for a time would make someone miss me. Apparently, there's no one.rolling on the floor laughing
@Merc, downright sad to see the kind of animal some people are. Thanks for watching the link. If I can in my own little way to spread the good deeds of people in making miracles happen, I'd gladly do. hug heart wings teddybear bouquet
Naww Tatami, it's always good to see you, gentle soul that you are.

That's enough talking now. I have to go and watch dog rescue videos... giggle
You have a name's sake, Merc...

@Jac, I envy @Merc. When she went on silent mode, someone missed her very badly, indeed!grin bouquet
That's because she's loud, not because we like you any less than we like Merc.

You need to cause more disruption and mayhem, Tatami. laugh
@Jac, though intrigues keep on following me wherever I go, I'm not born to make big splashes.laugh And @Merc being loud, just maybe vocal for one her first language is English while I'm not. I'm really learning from all of you here even until now.laugh bouquet heart wings teddybear
Ah no, Merc's first language is Australian - we don't understand a word she says. (I'm going to be in so much trouble when she reads this.) giggle

Anyway, you've made a big splash with me tonight in your own quiet way. It's half past four in the morning, the sun has risen...and I'm still watching dog rescue videos. laugh

It's not all your fault.

Somebody smashed my neighbours window not long after midnight just as I was about to go to sleep. A young man who is annoyed that she doesn't want anything to do with him is suspected, but thankfully she wasn't at home when it happened. The windows are difficult to break and the noise had us all leaping out of our skins wondering what was happening.

We were all out from our small block of flats, calling the police, the landlord to get the window boarded up, clearing up glass and generally guarding her home until it was secure. After all that, I couldn't sleep, which is not your fault.

Just the bit about watching dog rescue videos is your fault. laugh
Oh Tatami, what have you unleashed... laugh

Merc is lovely like me blues .

I saw what you said Jac giggle
Thank you tatami bouquet
