Crossfire movie by Lauren Southern

I watched this documentary last night. It is very informative for anyone who wants to better understand race relationships in the US. It explains how the police were originally used to track down runaway slaves and shows the brutality of Jim Crow. It's easier to understand why the blacks distrust police after watching this. It is free to watch.

Did the documentary made you more or less prejudice?
That's a tough question to answer LaFonda. What exactly do you mean by prejudice? I'll try and give you a better answer later. Did you watch the documentary?
Glad you watched it Jenny.
I've watched nearly half of it.

Does it get less biased in the second half, or does it carry on pretending it's a fair and objective view from both sides?
"I'll try and give you a better answer later. Did you watch the documentary?"

Soony, I would like to hear your answer.

No I didn't watch.

I saw some of the civil unrest here in America about racial inequality in 2020. Last weekend I looked at re-runs of the Jeffersons. This country has been fighting the same racial inequality for many years.

I give thanks that I didn't live here during those times. It would be nice to see a change. Maybe the younger generation can make it happen.

I'll be waiting to read your answer. Be honest.
Jac I think people need to watch it for themselves and form their own opinions. Your opinion has been duly noted.
Nah, I don't think people need to watch it.

There are better things that people could spend their time on, like eating a bag of crisps, or counting the number of snails in their back yard.
LaFonda I tend to live in smaller cities which don't have all the problems of the larger Democrat run cities. I base most of the opinions I have on personal experience with people I work with and live around. The places I have lived have enjoyed good racial relationships. I don't really fully understand where all the hatred in the cities comes from, but I think it is very foolish to pretend it doesn't exist just because the MSM wants to whitewash it to fit their narrative. I think if we are ever going to solve problems we first have to be honest about what the problems really are, and not be afraid to talk about them. I admit there are certain parts of the larger cities that intimidate me and I avoid going there and this is not just a US problem.

I follow a lot of black people on twitter and mostly they are very honest about the issues. Most of them realize they have to take responsibility for their own problems and not rely on white liberals, and they don't consider themselves victims. It gives me hope for the future. Hope that explains it a little.
Go ahead and eat your chips and count your snails Jac. comfort
And right up until the turn of the 21st century the left was more like Abe. A protectionist opposed to globalisation viewing it as exploitative.
Through women and political correctness the black American community has mastered the art of never let anyone tell you you're not good enough. To the point where they disobey the police.

But what they don't do is actually apply themselves. So many black 6 year olds who never do their homework seeing themselves as a child god. Black Americans have precisely the opposite mentality to winners in the far east where you see yourself as a mere child at aged 6 with a lot to learn.
It only takes one Chauvin to make tele 80% BAME and burn down the town centre. A Netflix special worthy of a totalitarian society where refugees are depicted as being housed in deplorable conditions and not the Hilton Hotel overlooking a native population with record levels of homelessness. Films that depict the complete opposite of reality.
I guess the real lesson to learn from America is that human beings are not interchangeable like currency is. It's a mistaken assumption the ideal that we are all individuals. The future is charted by the past whether you are conscious of this or not, shared descent and all descent has a will of its own. We seem completely free in the present moment and this is an illusion.
Soony, i appreciate a response to my request.

I must say it appears that you are being cautious with your response.

Carry on.
