I think I'll let my hair grow long.

As I've grow older I've discovered that the inner hippie I was thought long gone is still alive and kicking. I still have a full head of hair and I don't enjoy trips to the barber shop, so I figure what the heck why not let my freak flag fly again, before my hair falls out and I would look like Bozo if I let what remained on the sides grow long. And I have to admit just the thought of it has been empowering, and I can feel a Samson like strength starting to awaken. And the money I save on haircuts can be used to support my drinking habit.cheers

Ever since the exorcism I haven't been able to turn my neck around far enough to check the length. I have grown a bit weary of plucking hairs from my ears though and thought maybe if I covered them up no one would notice.

Good on ya Soon, fly your hippie flag high and proud mate.. and an extra drink for me too.. cheers
I haven't had a haircut for months now; it's just too much trouble. I actually prefer long hair, but mine is wispy and fluffy when it gets long, so I have to wear a hat if it is windy. Otherwise, it makes me look like a stick of candy floss. sigh
I noticed at the same time I was balding hair began growing out of my ears and nose. Proof again to me the universe always balances itself.
grin my thoughts were of flowers in the hair and long swirling skirts laugh
I haven't cut my hair in a long time too. Just that I didn't see a need to.

Am I welcome in the hippie club?laugh
Just make sure you avoid all potential Delilahs.
heck,if it relocates from the top of the head to the ears, let it grow long, then just comb it over, problem solved!uh oh
I haven't gone to a barber in over 10 years. I cut my own hair using a Flowbee and my Shop vac. The time & money I save has paid for the Flowbee at least 10X over.
Is the Flowbee company still alive?
I remember 25 years ago a coworker wanted to be a distributor of them.
Hey Chat, They are still for sale on Amazon $139.00. When my hair starts getting too long I just walk out to the garage, give myself a haircut, takes about 10 minutes and go back in the house. I don't even have to start the car up. If you had a lot of kids just think of the money you could save by giving them free haircuts. Too bad my mother didn't know about this.
I have always loved the long haired men as long as it was neatly kept. Especially in a business suit a long haired man will make me look twice and try to catch their eye..
Thanks for the comments people. I'll just say to everyone that some of them made me crack a big grin. blushing
