Are we seeing Putin's chessboard unfold with a huge pincer movement....

which might explain why the 40 mile long army in Ukraine near Kiev is where it is at this time (block).

Where does the burning nuke powerplant come into it Gal ?
Is it Russian made ?
Good observation.
Russian forces have now captured Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, the largest in Europe, after the plant was set on fire as a result of heavy shelling. Ukraine had confirmed that the safety of the power plant was secured and the radiation level was normal.

"Europeans, please wake up. Tell your politicians Russian troops are shooting at a nuclear power plant in Ukraine," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said in a video address.
The Zaporizhzhia thermal power plant was built in the years 1971–1977. It has a 320 metres (1,050 ft) tall flue-gas stack, which is one of the tallest free-standing structures in Ukraine.
well, I am probably wrong again but it looks like Russia doesn't want to destroy it presently. Aggression on this power plant could just be the tail wagging the dog.
this map has more detail
It is such a long line of military i cannot understand why planes have not been there it is the easiest target Yep I know it is a shame i have to even think like that but when you see the lines of refugees which would for sure be longer than those tanks it seems so odd.
What am i missing confused
i'm seeing Putim taking back something that USA was trying to steal under false pretenses...

So nothing that strange i suppose, aside america trying to steal something to push further its Globalization Agenda...
cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers cheers
To Putin!!!
yay yay yay yay yay
Well, the nato countries should never have pushed for and supported the 2014 coup in Ukraine which ousted a pro Russian one.
Lately, Russia has not declared war on the usa or any other member nation of nato so far. If A nato country were to go into Ukraine with airstrikes that would be the same as that nato nation declaring war with Russia ... which most likely will escalate into a larger war, if not a nuclear war.
I took a dosimeter from work with me on one flight on Lufthansa airlines that went over Chernobyl on my way from germany to kiev. surprising to me at about thirty-thousand feet it kept counting radioactive decay at a very high rate.
Ukrainians did not want to live under a pro Russian dictator , they should have the right to choose who rules them . It must have been like America now living under an unelected President , like how are things working out for you in the last 14 months . Ukraine threw off their yoke , the US has not .
I saw just the opposite attitude towards Russia in Ukraine when i last visited there. Eastern Ukraine was leaning east but the rest was pro Russia. Especially in Kharkov.
A few U-tube clips of people of both Russian and Ukraine birth living in Ukraine are pro Ukraine . They all still deserve to be able to change their government and they could not before the coup .
I am thinking that Ukraine has held open elections allowing all of its citizens to vote in government positions since 1991.

"So far, five presidential elections have been conducted. The first election in 1991 was held at the same time as Ukrainians voted to support the Declaration of Independence in the independence referendum. Leonid Kravchuk was elected Ukraine's first president on 1 December 1991. He was elected by a record number of voters with over 19.5 million who wanted him to see as the leader of the state."
Just guessing mind , those stalled Russian columns are being held up by Russian born Ukrainians bearing bred baskets and vodka for the troops . Just like in Finland 1939 .
Considering we should never trust those bearing gifts, i doubt that tactic will work roday unless it includes Kyiv Vechirniy chocolates candy.
Did I hear the news right yesterday that the Ukraine has 5 nuke power plants ? These powerplants must be getting to end of their safe usability time, i'm sure Putin knows the geo political and nuke powerplant situation better than the CS politicians and war reporters..
Alexa says Ukraine operates 4 nuclear power plants with 15 reactors.
On the geopolitical scene many middle eastern countries are not backing the US/NATO stance on Russia/Ukraine war, many middle eastern countries are doing weapons deals with Russia..
The US has lost a few weapons deals over the last couple of years, Israel even blocked the US iron dome missile system from being set up in the Ukraine..
Russia and Ukraine grow about 25% of the worlds wheat, this is another spanner in the works for many countries..
I think the Russian pincer is about to close on Kiev. Ukraine. Nato and biden are unmistakably mostly to blame for aggression in Ukraine. Why the president of Ukraine wants to see the usa go at it with russia and set off wwiii is beyond belief.

It's time England, France and Germany step up and resolve what's happening in Ukraine.
One of the "pincers" is stuck in the mud! Wrong hole!!??
I live in the great country of Ohio and sometimes wish it was not part of any union. We should have our own representation in that bs organization they call the United Nations.

Budapest Memorandum
Main article: Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances
On December 5, 1994 the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, Britain and the United States signed a memorandum to provide Ukraine with security assurances in connection with its accession to the NPT as a non-nuclear weapon state. The four parties signed the memorandum, containing a preamble and six paragraphs. The memorandum reads as follows.

4. The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to seek immediate United Nations Security Council action to provide assistance to Ukraine, as a non-nuclear-weapon State party to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, if Ukraine should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used.
