The Duke and duchess of Cambridge are visiting the Carribbean at present, and have faced opposition from inhabitants, particularly in Belize. The objection is to Britain's history and connection with the slave trade and failure to apologise. The Duke said that he was sorry for the abhorrent practice of slavery.Should any country apologise for their wrongful acts in their history even though the present regime is not in any way responsible.
